Welcome back to another What's for Dinner video and this week all of the dinners (and a dessert) I made were Crock-Pot meals! MANDY'S COLE SLAW:
1 bag of tri-colored slaw
1/4 cup Duke's mayo
1/4 cup chopped dill pickles
splash of pickle juice
2 tsp seasoning blend (I used Auntie Nono's)
1/2 tsp pepper
Mix everything together and allow to chill in the refrigerator for a couple of hours before eating!
SUBBIE SUPPER Submitted by Brandi
SAUSAGE, GREEN BEAN, AND RICE CROCK-POT CASSEROLE
1 package of kielbasa sausage
3 cans of cut green beans
1 large onion sliced
1 packed of onion soup mix
1 cup of vegetable stock
2 boxes of rice a roni, rice pilaf flavor
Slice the sausage and saute until nice and brown. (Enhances the flavor)
Slice the onion drop in the bottom of your crock pot.
Next drain the green beans and dump them on top of the onions.
Sprinkle the onion soup mix on the green beans
Pour the vegetable stock over the green beans and add the sausage on top of that as the last layer.
Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
Make the rice per box directions when you are ready to have dinner.
I serve the crock pot mixture over the rice!

Another awesome video!!! I have 2 crockpots and 2 pressure cookers. Use them all year long. I cook meals for either the elderly or people who live alone and don't want to cook for just 1. So by using these appliances, they don't heat up the house in the summer and are great in the winter because they save on our propane. Might just say their a win, win...lol!!! Love how Steven and Cole clown around and your "mood" is exactly what we need in our lives to help keep us chuckling...keep up the great job your doing!!!

The sriracha reminded me of a chicken recipe that is YUMMY. Chicken thighs Equal parts sriracha and butter Half part honey and lime juice Minced garlic and grated ginger Salt and pepper to taste Cook on low until it can be shredded, like 5 or 6hrs. Great served over rice! Also yummy with pork

In the deep south, MS and LA, we call that sausage, green beans and potatoes. We add some cubed new or red potatoes and we use a smoked, Cajun or Andouille sausage. Serve this over white rice. YUMMO. Give it a try!!

On that sausage & green bean recipe, you can make it even easier by adding cut potatoes under the green beans & delete the rice. We do this & serve with a sweet or spicy cornbread.

I put the cubed potatoes on the bottom, add green beans, season salt & pepper, broth of your choice & sliced smoked sausage.

Crockpots were not big when my children were small but I used my pressure cooker all the time. I believe your one pot does the same thing. Later when I finally got a crockpot I used it all the time. I knew my children had a hot meal even when I wasn’t there!!

Yes, like crockpot cooking and air fryer recipes. I have no instapot, but I do use my pressure cooker to tenderize and cook my beef recipes. Stew meat gets so tender in the pressure cooker and it's great for a beef and egg noodles dish I do.

These look so good! I am SO making that s'mores cake! I just adore crockpot recipes. I have an Instant Pot, and it's nice for days when you're in a time crunch, but I think the flavors are so much better in the crockpot. Low and slow just makes for some good eating!

When you told Steven there was keilbasa in it, my mind made a sweet lil trip down memory lane. My mother passed back in 2019 but we still talk and share her funny stories because WELLLLL she wasn't the brightest crayon in the box but we all loved her immensly. She grew up not hearing certain words right and no one corrected her. One of those words was keilbasa. She called it kabossy 🤣

Everything looks so yummy! I was afraid of my instant pot too, but once you use it a couple of times, I swear you'll end up wanting to use it for everything! Same for the air fryer!

I have 2 Instant pot! the Instant pot like oven, 6 crockpots, 2 roasters, an inside griddle an air fryer. I think that is all. They get used more then my own lol. I make hard boiled eggs in the Instant pot and air fryer. I love my kitchen toys. Makes my Christmas when I get something new for the kitchen.
