For anyone struggling with the concept, there is a general rule about cornering in racing: slow in, fast out. You only need to go fast after passing the apex of a corner because that's where acceleration and grip will make you go fast in the straight. And remember that any corner is about two things: scrubbing speed so you can make the turn and getting back up to speed for the straights. If you do that in the inverse order and take too much speed into the corner, you will most likely miss the apex, which will mean you'll run wide or you'll have to be on the brakes for longer, both of which will make you take more time from corner entry to accelerating again, and the longer you take to get onto the gas again, the longer it will take you to reach top speed on the straight, so braking too late and having to wait longer to get on the gas will not only hurt the time you take to get off the corner but also the speed you can gather on the straight. Late braking is *only* for defending or attacking in racing conditions, but never to drive a lap faster

This car is so tricky. It doesn't shout at you at speed and your mind is like "I might be going slow" but it has so much power and torque that when you look at the speed you cant believe it. And it's very tail happy. But once you understand that, and not try to over drive it, it is really quick.

Earlier today, I did that slow entry into the last turn and was surprised to gain more than 1/2 second to move into C. The first hairpin and S has more time to gain for me.

The ceiling of this car is a 1:11.8, which is barely just off A. It is a little frustrating that I’m two tenths off A, however no one can manage to get into there, and even if I got a perfect lap it’d be in the top positions of B.

It took me years to realise an ingame mechanic nobody told me about. Following the darker colored highly rubberised line on the road gives you massive handling boost. Its worth making a video on it. I can see most people especially ranks 500-700 in omp don't know about it either.

I heard Nascar legend Buddy Baker say one time. I don't care how deep you can drive down into the corner or how hard you can dive into the corner. What I wanna know is when are you getting back in gas. Meaning right before the apex you want your car nice and settled under you. And back in the gas right at the apex.

One thing I've started using to push myself to get better times in WTTT (and this might help those struggling to level up from E or D groups or below) is ghost challenging someone with the same car at the top of your current ranking. Even if i can't beat them, the competition of another car always seems to help to chip away at and lower my previous best time.

Hey me7, i remember ur vid abt ur vid before the singapore gp u told us to brake early gas early, but i dont like that much cuz i always brake so early so i breke late but i discovered maybe lst month u can brake later and still gas early, i did that by brake a little bit later and try to run a little bit wide and like hug the inside line on the exit fo a trun so that i have a straighter exit and better exit

Tbh I feel that we need a downshift and upshift override feature, One which shifts with a click and does not go back to autoshifts for about 2-5 seconds(like a delay)🤔

On second hairpin corner or u-turn, I have to break before the distance marker otherwise my car skids how you have managed to do that. I managed to make it to group C. Car is Porsche 911 turbo (2009)
