Great recap of the rod, reel, line weight, etc. that you’re using. Always interesting to see what guys on the other side of the Earth are using. Love the fishing content; editing is superb.

My wife and I were supposed to go fishing at PORT DOUGLAS over a week ago while on holidays in CAIRNS, KARUMBA & CAIRNS again. But I got laid off from my job, so I cancelled. It ended up raining most of the day anyway. Thank you. Andy

Hey mate awesome content. Do you ever use your minn kota to hold you on the spot once you find the fish or is it better to drift? Cheers

That cobia catch seemed lackluster. In FL they are prized fish but you didnt seem to thrilled about it. Do they not taste good down under?
@afluidvision89293 жыл бұрын
They are great eating in Aus but the Reds he catches would be much better tasting
@PelagicPursuit893 жыл бұрын
yeah mate they are prized but their just a bastard in the boat haha and release the best, having a few fish already he got lucky
@grpaxto3 жыл бұрын
Nice video, cracking reds. Are you just trying to cover ground on the drift rather than spot lock over the marks?
@PelagicPursuit893 жыл бұрын
each drift is roughly 400-600m hahaha

What do you do for a job
@bradgreen99363 жыл бұрын
Good piece of tackle talk and and how you do your drifts, is their a reason why you don't use your spot lock when you find the fish?
@PelagicPursuit893 жыл бұрын
yeah just to cover ground. your bigger fish are like bulls and like to roam out wider than all the regular feeders

Loving the new content, and the instructional side you've added, rather than just hook ups and playing. But PLEASE put the fish out of their misery before doing the gear run down. Iki spike, whatever, it's not a good look having it suffocate on the deck - no matter how interesting the gear lowdown.

Love your videos mate. Keep it up. I do have an advice for you, change that Daiwa Lexa reel of yours with a real power handle, the bc type handle is not quite suitable for slow/fast jigging in my opinion. That will give you more cranking power. Keep the videos coming and one day may be i can join you jigging there!
