What a beautiful film ! I was born in la Vucciria and have spent most of my time in western Sicily because that is where my heart will always be. I will be moving back this year and will live out the rest of my life there where I will die a happy man. Ah! Bella Sicilia! Thank you for sharing your vacation to Sicily. I visited for a month in 2013 and loved it! I especially loved the Sicilian people. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Even more so than the main land Italians. The best pastries of my life? Maria Grammatica's in Erice!

I’ve been so sad because my husband divorced me and I still love him and am praying for a miracle from God for marriage restoration. The one thing I’ve missed lately so badly lately is just having a big hug so when I looked up the translation for un abbraccio and saw “If you give someone a hug, you put your arms around them and hold them tightly”, my heart leaped for joy and I know it’s a sign from the Lord…thank you sweet friends!

We leave Cefalu in a few days after being here for the month of November. It has been a lovely place to relax and rest after a little while in Palermo. We also took a road trip to Agrigento (highly recommend!) and now we are heading to Rome. We loved the village and our evening strolls through the ancient streets. Cheers!

I have only been to Sicily in the winter, but what first struck me was how late the leaves were still on the trees. I was temporarily working there in a Factory and was amazed by the food that was being served. I would not have expected anything that is coming from massive pots in the Canteen Kitchen, to have tasted good. But it did and the Nonna that were preparing it, were competing with each other to server you more. If I had stayed any longer I would have only been able to leave by Sea.

My grandchildren are half Sicilian, my son's ex wife's grandparents and both of her parents came to the US from Sicily as children. It's really interesting to see where my ex daughter-in-laws family came from. It's so beautiful there, it must've been difficult to leave and immigrate to New York City. I hope that my grandchildren will be able to travel to Italy as young adults and see where their other grandparents and ancestors came from. Unfortunately their mother does not speak Italian at all her parents both spoke Italian fluently but did not speak it or allow it to be spoken in their home, such a pity.

I stayed in Tuscany back in 2019 and I literally cried when that trip came to an end. Coming back to California after living in what felt like a dream for three weeks was extremely difficult. Italy is a very special place.

Really like your content but you guys must get better at identifying exactly where you are as you move from location to location. Like in this video for example, you tell us your in Sicily and share the beautiful place and surroundings you’re in, but never mention exactly what part of Sicily?? Don’t know about the rest of your viewers, but I watch your channel to experience the places you visit to help me decide which locations I’d like to visit on my next trip. Hope that helps 🙏🏻

I am living in Italy presently. In reference to the grocery shopping. Italy has really good "inexpensive" wine.....really.....but in the U.S. we have better grocery store (whole foods) cookies, and better grocery store ice cream. I do not want to offend, but I come from the U.S. city that has more ice cream shops than any city in the U.S. It is possible to have "mediocre" gelato in Italy, but the best gelato is better than the best ice cream in U.S.......but even mediocre ice cream/gelato is okay. there is no comparison to Italian produce and cheese. I have discovered that Provolone in my region is nothing like the toned down provolone in U.S.......I am not totally sure, but I think I like my local fresh ricotta in Italy more than ice cream! Can I say I am happier in Italy than I was in Texas.....not really, but my dogs and wife are here, and Italy is our home now. .....and the Adriatic coast is why we chose our location......
