Thank you very much for all your videos. I was thinking about a stitch to consolidate a hole or un snag: the festoon stitch. It’s a nice one with several ways to sew it. It’s look very regular that why it reminded me sashiko. Have a nice day 😊

I had never heard of festoon stitch! Thank you so much for sharing❤️ I will definitely check it out! Blackwork also has very similar patterns to Sashiko. Several viewers from India mentioned that Sashiko has similarities to Kantha. It’s so fascinating to learn all those different stitchery techniques🧵🪡😊❤️

This is still one of my favorite lessons you did. I watch this often to learn and get inspired....dying fabrics is a fun experiment.

I have just found your channel, it’s great! Would you consider doing a video on how you naturally dye your fabrics and threads?
@thegreenwrapper Жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching! I was actually thinking about doing some videos about natural dye. I’m just learning how to do it and it’s not success always but it can be still interesting to show all that challenges. Thank you for your input😊

First time watching a video from your channel and I'm loving it! I have a love of embroidery from watching my grandmother embroider pillowcases. Watching your video was so soothing and brought back those memories. I'm hoping that after watching a few, they will inspire me to try this for myself. Thanks, fan and new subscriber from New Zealand

Thank you so much for your beautiful comment❤️ When I stitch, I also think about my grandmother who was very creative. Thinking about those happy memories is what I enjoy when I do slow stitching and Sashiko. Thank you again for watching my video. Your comment made me so happy💕

Very nice! Love the organic theme to every aspect of your projects. I’d love a tutorial on dying fabric with whatever you have! Curious of parts material, water etc how long to brew the mixture befor putting in fabric , how long does fabric sit in mixture etc

Thank you😊 I have a video about natural dyeing with onion skins. I’m not an expert but I love the idea of using food scraps before throwing them away! Natural dyeing with onion skins - Reusing food scraps to dye sewing materials! Kusakizome kzfaq.info/get/bejne/frOipdd2sNa7nXU.html

Inspiring little squares. Thank you for sharing 🎉 Suggestion: It was difficult for me to read and enjoy your stitching at the same time. Why not add an audio recording?
@thegreenwrapper3 ай бұрын
Thank you for your suggestion!❤️ I was originally going to do Japanese audio (my mother tongue) with multilingual subtitles but decided not to do it as I thought it might be hard to watch for non-Japanese speakers. The majority of the current viewers are from non-English speaking countries so it’s hard to decide which language would be the best😅

I’m obsessed with circles. Thank you. Can I use floss? How many strands. Just to start since I’m a beginner.
@thegreenwrapper5 ай бұрын
When it comes to slow stitching, there are no rules! I even use threads for machine sewing🧵🪡 If you are looking for something close to the thickness of a Sashiko thread, you can use a pearl cotton thread (No. 8 or 5) or 2-4 strands of a No.25 embroidery floss. Also, there’s a video that I compared different types of threads⬇️ What is the best Sashiko thread? I stitched with 5 different types of threads to compare them kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eeCUd691p7y0m58.html
