Is there hope for a medical therapy that may slow the progression of the disease? I had two X-rays recently and it says my aorta is mildly calcified but my X-rays from a year ago didn’t mention it. Can this progress quickly? Or was there a mistake made in interpreting the X-ray? I’m 40 so I don’t know.

sometimes it can progress quickly and sometimes it can remain stable for years. It's important to have an echo annually when you reach moderate stenosis.
