SLURRY 2022 BEGINS WITH A SHOWER OF POO!!! -- PIPING SLURRY 2022

In todays video the slurry ban is officially lifted and its time to get spreading!! In our part of Ireland, slurry (cow poo) can't be spread until after the 15th January. So now it's full steam ahead. Father Phil is on the 6499 and pump with the new applied compressor and im back in the 6290 spreading away at the other end of the pipe. We test out the CB radios and as you can see in the thumbnail the poor 6290 does not stay clean for long after some unlucky parking next to a leaking pipe and its raining poo!.

Hi Phil, certain types of LED lights interfere with radio signals. It depends what frequency the LED lights are. We had an issue at work with some LED spotlights we installed on our boat interfering with the marine VHF radio.

Great set up. You can make up frame for job loading shovel. To pipe across the public road. You can lift pipes high enough for a lorry to go under it

I bought a ceramic coat kit for my tractor when I was doing muckspreading and hedge cutting, it makes the windows and panels super easy to clean and apparently offers protection to paint, I would try it out for your spreading tractor

Phil if ya put an SWR meter on your Cb's between the aerial and transmitter you can adjust your aerial length to get maximum reception and distance...but make sure all your led lights are on when setting up your radios...if you're getting interference you can fit an in-line unit to clean up the noise ..

Phil we switched to the 2 ways and have great range and less problems but we still have CBs in the trucks and you need to find somebody to tune in the antenna and or turn the radio up but check your contacts to the antenna and make sure it's tight and the connection is good

here in the netherlands the ban is from the 1st of september to th 1st or 15th of februari on grassland i believe. not that we could go into the fields at this moment :P

If you didn't wash the tractor that pipe wouldn't burst on you it's like washing the car getting stuck behind a lorry on a wet day get the 1200 in soon before something else breaks down hope uncle ian is keeping well Great video behind every OK man there's a great woman and steady Ed go on liv and bro nothing worse than facing into doing another day's work when you get back how are fixed to do some spreading in Waterford you could get few extra days in grand short draw

Hi Farmer Phil love reading your comments use to put out a lot of slurry for years for people quick question what pump agitator and tractor do ye do the sheds with me I am from Galway/Clare border am retired from farming now as I suffer from epilepsy and can't drive anymore best wishes know the feeling of slurry spreading was driving at silage for 5 years miss the driving but health reasons stop me from driving

I had an issue with my CB randomly giving static, I bought a cheap SWR meter and tuned the antenna. Solved all issues. Word of warning too, not having it tuned can damage a CB and ended up killing mine before I tuned it.

it can be piped but its harder work as it can block the pump, harder to pump
