When I was 10 years old at my grandparents house, they had a large TV and I remember watching the Ed Sullivan show and the family Stone. I thought it was the greatest thing I’ve ever seen on TV

I saw sly and the family stone in 1970 at the Long Beach Arena and this is when he started to show up late to his concerts and because he was late he played a short set and I thought the band was pretty sloppy nothing like the Woodstock concert that I was very impressed with
