He once said don't hate the black don't hate the white hate the bite maybe that has a broader meaning if you think about it I'm also very moved by their jams but just think about it we can heal this world if we try together 😊

one of the best concerts I ever witnessed was Sly and the Family Stone. No one was sitting down - everyone dancing - and the vibe was unity - that's what they could do to a crowd.

The seventies was the best decade of my life. Every day was a good day so much fun, laughing and enjoying life. Absolute best music, hotest cars, hotest girls and happiest life. If I could pick one decade to live over it would be the beautiful seventies!

Sly and the family Stone was one of the 1st integrated band group which began in the 1960's during the unrest through out the country, civil Right's movement,dr.king,Malcolm x,and others plus John f.Kennedy and Robert kennedy, plus many other civil rights assassination plus protests of Vietnam war, riots and lives lost on colleges campuses. Those were traumatic times in our country and music artists like sly and many others brought us all together through their music of love and peace.

No, James Brown invented funk. Sly had helped to progress funk. He helped to change funk from the '60s style to what became popular in the '70s.

The audience is almost all Black. And that's an old, overused and kind of racist remark. Sly had a white drummer when I saw him in 1970. There was nothing wrong with his timing.
