Red Roan Pony Just because you’re in a house doesn’t mean you’re automatically only aloud to have those personality traits lol. Peter Pettigrew was a cowardly Gryffindor. Just because J.K. only thinks to generalise everyone from a specific house into only being able to experience one personality. News flash, Hermione was an incredibly intelligent Gryffindor. Snape was incredibly brave, so fucking brave in fact that he _died_ just so that Voldemort could be defeated. People think slytherins are all evil, but honestly, with every other house hating you, the pressure from even your own house to be bad, and the fact that you LITERALLY LIVE IN A DUNGEON what do you think would happen? Also the fact that most of them have very strict parents or powerful friends and have to uphold some sort of reputation for themselves.

Yeah this is more "Voldemort and his Death Eaters" than Slytherin, but otherwise great video I’m just gonna put up a list real quick: - Horace Slughorn - Regulus Black - Andromeda Black - The Greengrass sisters - Bloody Baron - Merlin - Phineas Black - Leta Lestrange - Albus Potter - an extremely long list of other characters is included here, but you likely wouldn’t know them, as they just lived their lives, or went on to do what they wanted to do without becoming death eaters. If you look at the exhaustive list on the Harry Potter wiki (chronological), you’ll see that the death eaters are all around Voldemort’s time. This is because he basically built a cult using people who felt shunned by others, especially other houses within Hogwarts (I.e. Slytherin). The more people are expected to be evil, and others treat them as though they are such, the more likely they are to become evil.

I'm a Slytherin myself. I hated the house when I was younger, but now, I've grown to adapt to its different techniques, learn and listen to its dark past. It's truly amazing. Slytherin's earned the way to my favourite house

Coming from a gryffindor, slytherins are so cool (in my opinion) like they're dark and stuff but I don't understand why people think slytherins are evil because they're really not....just some wizards/witches in that house were evil...doesn't mean they all are. As a proud Gryffindor, I actually don't like Slytherin much, but then I took this test called "Everyone is a combination of two houses, here's yours" and mine was Gryffindor + Slytherin. I became a lot more proud of Slytherin house than before after watching this. But still, sometimes, I don't like some Slytherins. My frenemy's a Slytherin, and that is one reason why I dislike some of em. This video is a masterpiece. I really hope you'd make one about Gryffindor!! I absolutely loved this video!!!

for me it is, there isn't much SLYTHERIN house material to use so i reference them, lets be real, for me all of Death Eaters to Slytherin is basically connected.Just my opinion =)
