SM is one of the oldest and biggest companies in the entertainment industry. Ofc, it’s dealt with it’s shares of scandals and still deals with it... but they must be doing something right that 1) their groups don’t just have popularity but also LONGEVITY 2) a familial interaction among its artists despite having SO MANY groups! *RESPECT*

I HATE THAT MOST KPOP IDOLS CANT DO THIS ANYMORE. AN INTERACTION OF A MALE AND A FEMALE IDOL IS ALREADY A "SCANDAL."

What sets apart SM and their artists from other kpop agencies is that SM has whole company events/activities like SM Halloween Party and SM Town Concert which allows the artists to interact more with each other. It is also implied in variety shows that SM does have company dinner every now and then where artists, executives,and staffs eat with each other. Also, having the artists (especially 2nd gens like suju,snsd, shinee, fx) be exposed in variety shows helped them to befriend artists from the company and outside of it. Sometimes, I do think that the bond SM artists have with each other is from SM's hell-like training that during their training, the only ones they could rely on was their fellow trainees and I'm sure that senior artists could relate to their junior's hardships.
