You know, if you think about it. This episode is one of the darkest and saddest episodes SMG4 has ever made. The fact that Grand Dad was using his power to make an actual world similar to his world he came from which felt like pain and torture is pretty brutal and when he said that he only wanted to be loved. But thankfully, his dream did somewhat come true with the help of SiIvaGunner.

Judging by this video, we have an understanding for the hatred Grand Dad has for the Mario in SMG4's world. Although, Grand Dad seems a lot less hostile in Mario Hotel despite being as powerful as shown in this video. Perhaps Don Mario can remove the powers a Mario can have? Not sure, but according to the Smart Mario in the Mario Hotel, he is the wisest of all the Mario's, so perhaps Grand Dad found a way to reverse the effects himself. Although, it still isn't really noted about how Don Mario managed to get all those Mario's in one place. Especially given that Mario destroyed the painting that held Grand Dad. But using Mario Hotel's video, they appear to come from a pipe outside the hotel. So, Grand Dad probably also came via a pipe. Since Mario Hotel takes place after this video, another good note is the hatred he has for Stupid Mario. Since the hotel appears to have a hatred for him (most people, not all), Grand Dad could've told the residents at Mario Hotel about what he had done to him, causing possible outrage. The fact Grand Dad knew Stupid Mario's weakness would be spaghetti is just as odd though. Judging by other videos, alternate Mario's also appear to have a loving for spaghetti, but Grand Dad knew that only Stupid Mario would go for the spaghetti since everyone else was after him, which that would make sense as the others knew him as Stupid Mario. In the two most recent episodes where all the Mario's reappear, more seem to be added to the collection. In fact, the episode where the switch becomes unstable, causing them all to go into the real world, you can also find that some are missing. SMG4 didn't make it obvious whether they were replaced, caused trouble and was forced back home, or if Nintendo simply rejected them. I don't think the 3rd option would be true though, as in the Nintendo Arc (so far), Nintendo easily accepted Mario's game suggestion despite how unlogical the naming & concept was, all the caged up people conveniently all starring in one game, hell there's not even a concept for the game. The guards appeared to show no care for what Mario would say or do until it was time for the game suggestion. In the Marioverse episode, the Mario's are being gathered to rule the metaverse, but (from what I remember), Grand Dad was nowhere to be seen. He could've caused trouble and was forced back home, maybe he chose to leave, whatever it was, he hasn't reappeared. Grand Dad appears to also have some good climbing skills, bad reflex skills. He got to the roof easily, but charged straight at Mario, where he got defeated with one punch. Going back to the topic of his powers, he also had a corruption punch that spread across the whole castle. An inferred power is a cloning power, not of himself though, but of other bootlegs. It's unclear whether the pikachu's were all Toads or if they were someone else. Toads are basically the only person in the castle that could disprove the inferred power, as Toads are basically the only people with dozens of them existing in the Mushroom Kingdom. If it wasn't a Toad though, that means he secretly cloned a pikachu a lot without Mario knowing. There is a really interesting thing to note in this video, Bootleg Mario (NOT Grand Dad). He appeared in Hotel Mario despite the fact that he should've been erased from existence once Grand Dad had been completely wiped from the SMG4 universe. I believe that there was also an episode where some enemy of Mario(?) found the bootlegs and used them to make an army, but I don't remember if Bootleg Mario was featured in it. If he was though, that could explain how they can exist in the same universe without errors. Mario has definitely matured along the years due to the arcs and conflicts, so why can't he return anymore? Obvious answer, he is currently under the control of Nintendo. We don't know if the alternate universes have their own Nintendo as well though. Maybe the hotel shut down by now due to irreversible damages by Mario. SMG4 could definitely try to get us more details on this whole Mario Hotel thing. We haven't even seen where most reside at. SMG4 probably knows that though, as these characters aren't as important as one would think. We know where SOME come from though. Although, Super Smash Eachother in the Ass Bros is just a game, but Meta Runner does prove that games also serve as an alternate universe. But, the character that escapes their game would be unstable if not correctly treated, right? That also would remind some of a different topic, memes. They only go to the Internet Graveyard if they are happy, otherwise they stay up in the real world, slowly going insane. After some time, they get corrupted. They wreck havoc and can only be defeated when memes are made of them. But, that being compared to the Meta Runner version of being out of game is a bit different. Instead of wrecking havoc from being up for too long, game characters begin to glitch out. The only way to help them is by correctly containing them in a safe place. On the topic of corrupted memes, let's talk about Blooperville, home to a shit ton of Mario recolors. Aren't they technically also a Mario? They all live in the SMG4 universe though, so that could mean that the main Mario's of every universe are the guardians for their universe. X, FM, and many more also don't appear much, meaning they aren't as significant to the SMG4 lore, but it's good to remember them as they may have a larger role in the future, that's up to SMG4 to decide though. Enough rambling, why would Grand Dad hate Mario so much? Betrayal. Mario was fine with Grand Dad abusing his powers at the start, but when even an idiot like Mario knew it was getting out of hand, he had to stop him. Hell, Mario also mocked the bootlegs, adding more fury in Grand Dad's eyes. Perhaps this one episode gave Grand Dad motives to get revenge on Mario, which could possibly explain why he's been missing for a bit. It's also obvious by how SMG4 episodes play out that ((SOME)) characters that are given a special voice usually will make an impact on the series. Hopefully we can see more of this guy.
