Ngl, it was somewhat of a mistake making this video. If I had known it would take me this long(game videos are different to my normal videos), I would've went with HBK and Y2J's video. I need my PS2 Slim console back, I used to play SmackDown Here comes the Pain when I was 12 years old and now 24 I wanna get it and play this game again like it’s 2003! This game is legendary!

Words cannot describe just how perfect Here Comes the Pain is. I love Shut Your Mouth, 2006, 2007, and even No Mercy as well, but there’s something of HCTP that makes it just truly addicting everytime. The gameplay, the soundtrack, the graphics, the season mode, creations modes, everything is just top notch and it leads to insane fun with me and my brother everytime we’re together, and when we’re with our cousins for multiplayer fun, it’s more chaotic and awesome. I’ll forever love this game until I die for giving me and many others unlimited fun for years to come.

It's quite an embarrassment to the WWE brand that an almost 20 year old game is better than their most recent offerings. Just the accuracy of each character in the game, from looks to movesets and the branching aspect of season mode make it such a rare game. The one thing I missed from SYM is the ability to win every title available in the game and come to the ring as "WWE Grand Slam Champion". I still have my original copy of the game and will pop it every few months for nostalgic effect.

If they remastered this game and gave it an online mode, it’d be better than the last 15 years of wrestling games combined.

Playing this game as a 12 year old with all my friends was an incredible time. We would play the hottest wwe game & super smash bros melee RELIGIOUSLY ! I appreciate todays era of how easy it is to play online but that could never add up to having your friends in the same room & having a blast

Not gonna lie Day of Reckoning was the wrestling game for me. That was my first wrestling game and it holds so much nostalgia for me. Plus a soundtrack I will never forget.

The only thing missing from Here comes the Pain was putting your Belt on the line against a friend and making your own pay per view. But if I had to rate this game being No Mercy 64 as my favorite it will still be a 10/10 easily! Sincerely,

This is without a doubt, the BEST damn WWE game there ever was! Looking back, I really took this game for granted when it came to season mode. Sure, I created myself and played myself in the season mode, and even John Cena, but I really wish I'd played with guys like Benoit, Angle, Jericho, Guerrero, Rhyno, Mysterio, Goldust, and Van Dam among others!

Never played it sadly, but I heard a lot people say how good this game is. Personally, 2K14 is my favorite WWE game

I remember the season mode involving a 60min Ironman match that I hated playing but other than that,this is hands down one of the best WWE games. Top 3 at the very least.

Gaming as a whole has digressed in gameplay, story, and the fun factor. Contemporary games are almost exclusively made money….and when companies get a monopoly with a brand - like WWE/2K and Madden/EA, everyone suffers.

SVR 2006 for me. U cant beat gen manager mode, ppv mode, better graphics, in-game commentary, balance gameplay and speed, targeting body part damage, improved wrestler reactions, stamina system and ofcourse the highly improved create a wrestler mode.

I remember when hctp came out. It was 2003 and I was big time into wwf/e and had every other game. Including raw and raw 2 for Xbox also I bought a GameCube so I could play day of wreckoning.. but hctp Is and always will be my favorite one. The wrestlers looked great and the moves had that hard impact. Some of the smackdown vs raws was ok. But now all the 2ks to me have been trash. I don't have any of them no more. I quit buying the 2k versions because they all feel same. And plus there ain't no more interesting characters like they used be. I wish they would remaster hctp and keep the roster it has but also add some of new stars.

Yuke's definitely killed it with presentation, features and interactive backstages/backstage matches. A lot of that is due to disk space. They were definitely lacking in the gameplay where it was way too simplified.

To think it's 2022 and you can't even do a swanton bomb off a ladder with Jeff Hardy in wwe 2k22.
