On the last day of my camping trip I linked up with some mates and we have an epic session on the Squid. We make a mess of my mates brand new boat and have a good laugh. I do a basic squid fry up (Calamari ring style) for my family when I got home.
Warning - There is a bit of swearing in this video so its not suitable for young children.

Love a good inking on a squid sesh, but if u don’t, net the squid n hold it out from the boat to de ink. But wouldn’t be as much of a fun vid to watch 😂

I was on about 700 when it picked up. I guess people like mud crabs. Keep plugging away and you will see results.

Nice dude, hey next time you go catch some squid, cut them up as you did but squash some kiwi fruit through it, leave it for 24 hours then rinse and cook up as you did. The acidity in the kiwi fruit makes it's super tender and not that elastic/ overcooked sorta thing you mentioned. Keep it up buddy good job👌
