I love when people refurbish and recycle and reuse things,it's awesome for the earth and its so cool to make something over and make it better than it was its like polishing stones into gems,and it feels great to be creative too, not to mention you make your surroundings brighter and cheerful. It's a win win all the way around.Besides in my opinion when I get things It makes me more thrilled if I pay less or get something for free!

I have two of these I got at a yard sale and I put them in my dining room during the holidays. Adding additional greenery is just a brilliant idea. They are pretty sparse as they are and a piece of garland would really make a difference. Thank you so much for the idea. The tree is absolutely spectacular and bears no resemblance to the one you started with.

Ramon, I am in awe of your mother’s home! Her dark wood and red velvet upholstered furniture looks like it was moved in just for the season! The red is so intense and beautiful that it just sets off every single thing you have done. I love them all and I have to say that I adore the way her staircase rises. It is just so elegant.plus, I had never seen a hutch swagged like you did and I really like the way that looks because it is so different and draws your eye right to the hutch. But the Christmas tree, the Christmas tree is awesome! And the reason I say that is so many people as they age don’t want to decorate for the seasons because it all just seems like a bit too much for them. I can certainly understand that as I have had the same feeling as I’ve aged, but my children would have a conniption fit if I did not do everything that was done in all the other years, so that keeps me going. But the tree in that space is so perfect. It’s not overwhelming or overpowering in anyway but just elegant and lovely. I spotted immediately that you had moved your blue collection over and I remember you saying how much your mom and you both love blue and I’m so glad it has found such a gracious home. I think the house is wonderful. I think your mother is extremely blessed to have a son like you! And I think we are blessed by your work! Thank you once again for sharing and thank your mom for opening her home and her heart to us all.
