When it's too cutthroat for Tom it could fit my gaming group's taste.

I have played one 4-player game and I have enjoyed it. I had for mission to have several shops at levels 3 (if I remember well) and I have keep this as my only objective. Honestly, I have difficulties during the game to do "great" things while the other players were doing better. At the end of the game ... I won. And I felt a little sorry for one of my opponents who maybe overthank but did not accomplished hs objective and so lost points. I have made only one game but I hope I will do a second one soon.

Thinking is hard.

Relieved someone shares my opinion about this one. Played it with three people who loved it, but I felt it had some great mechanisms, but was not enough fun. With any luck, I will be in the minority though :)

Was thinking about picking this up, but now I think I will go with Suburbia.

Tom and the the Tower are ok with King of Tokyo kind of games but ask him not to wrap his head on a more challenging game going beyond "fun" and throwing dice around and stuff.
