Okay. So I love that planter. You have totally sold me on it. I'm buying one today. I have always planted basil around my tomato plants. I just love the combo together. I feel they enrich each other's flavor.❤❤

I have one and LOVE IT. WE WANT TO GET ANOTHER ONE. THE WAY THE TOP IS THETE SEEMS THERE MYST BE A DECORATIVE TOP THAT COULD SCREW ON THE TOP AND FINISH IT OFF!

Nice looking planter and trellis, its the bees knees. I grow cherry tomatoes and bell peppers in a glasshouse. My wife hates tomatoes and I can only eat so many myself but she does like the peppers. We normally give most of the tomatoes away to family and friends.

Hope you get lots of tomatoes! It’s been a great spring with rain returning, but certain plants are doing well and some seem to be lagging behind. Tomatoes are the latter. I’ve asked this question to others and they agreed. I grew several new varieties again and don’t know their growth habits, but all this rain may have something to do with it. I know another gardener in WA and of course they had a frost in June 😮. Some of us wonder if we will get tomatoes. The plants are not as vigorous and already havre tomatoes started. Maybe I’m rushing things as I noticed a few plants bloomed two weeks earlier this year. And I’m wondering if starting flowers early is helping or not as it’s almost the 4th of July and that’s when I expect many flowers to start exploding, but I would expect earlier flowers from those started indoors and really not seeing it. Seen a prediction that cold and snow will return this winter and wonder if we will have early frost. When I heard someone will be planting fall crop in late August I thought wow, how long is their growing season. I think our first frost is around 9/25. Well, whatever is happening to tomatoes I hope it straightens out. The hollyhocks got rust because of jungle like atmosphere and a few flowers like black eyed Susan’s vine and Russian sage have me baffled. We are sandy and dry (normally) and sage loves it here, but not this one so far. And that vine 🙄 it hasn’t hardly grown 3”!! And the other vegetables that struggle are peas, beets and kohlrabi. Wish I could figure out why they start so slow. I suppose I could get a soil test. I have a kit and maybe try that. It could be a sun/airflow thing also because my north garden is much healthier looking and it’s out in the open vs closer trees. The temp was Crazy this morning--49.2 Degrees!! Then it will instantly go back to hot. It hasn’t been that cold. Yesterday was drier cooler air and today, but will switch. Nothing like helping the fungus out Mother Nature 🙄.
