That is honestly about right. I guess if you are in some kind of criminal organization already you may know where to hire a "real" hitman . Realistically most people go to someone they know that needs money or asks a friend and you get a desperate guy/junky with a gun. It kinda bums me out too but their just doesn't seem to be "real" hitmen. Even mafia/gang goons that have a lot of bodies on them just kinda walk up and shoot the guy then ditch the gun. The closest you are going to get is CIA KGB type stuff and those guys are not really for hire.

Any of her admissions during interrogations were mild compared to pile of evidence the police already had obtained. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bquXobCZprXFY30.html In this video you can see she had a friend she was talking to about "our problem", that friend ran to the police once she started talking about murder for hire, so they set her up with the fake hitman.

An idiot starts asking around and word gets around. Somebody who isn't an evil piece of shit hears about it and contacts the police. The police then set up a sting. Or informants. Police have them everywhere.

It baffles me why people talk and chat to police? They aren’t looking for an excuse and they don’t want an explanation, they’ve already decided your guilty it’s why your under arrest, save your story for the judge and Jury and don’t give police more evidence (there recording you so you can’t deny saying it and it can be used at court against you) so why chat to them? Say no comment and see what they have against you and save your story for your trial, don’t tell the police first and see if they believe you as they won’t and they then know your defence..
