The way that it fades into vocal harmonies at the end is beautiful. The end of this song completely stood out when I saw them in Vancouver.

Very refreshing sound. Love the subtle humor and melancholic tone of this song. If you like Sigur Ros, Eskju Divine, or even Coldplay, you'll love Mew. Big thumbs up.

wow super duper! our choir has made its own version of this, nd i can tell you thats totally different to this, but zookeepers boy sounds good in many arrangements :) an excellent song!

not to mention all the amazing vocal textures done by everyone else in the band (save for silaas, but I feel for him there-drumming and singing is tough!).

No, they're going to continue writing songs as a three-piece without an official replacement for Johan. I'd assume they're going to continue touring with Bastian Juel, though - and maybe he'll play some bass on the new album? Bo has mentioned that Damon Tutunjian is playing bass in Introducing Palace Players, so maybe he's on some other tracks as well. Guess we'll find out in August :)

well, that is the IDEA of mew (well, one of them, at least) . it's what makes them special. if jonas just sang like everybody else, it wouldn't be half as amazing. at least not to me.

@murssheed Actually, I think Mew is one those bands that people like for the wrong reasons. Mew is original and has a nice progressive touch and of course Bjerre is an amazing singer, but I know people who listen to it because it's "cute"

Seriously, you must be joking. How can you not tell the difference between a live performance and a studio recording? This is 100% played live, except some of Jonas' layered background vocals in the chorus that are being looped while he sings the main part.
