I still can’t handle the gun shots thing. She gets shot once, and starts to go down, but she pushes through and gets back up, just for a second shot to actually take her out. Such an incredible analogy for the Joe to Matty journey. Let alone the fact that the majority of this performance is a literal death march to that scene. Incredible.

I have a feeling this short whirlwind romances where even her parents are charmed and won over, tend to be the relationships where she rights the most honest and cut throat songs about. This is as raw as All to Well for me. The way in which she can describe the betrayal and clearly articulate the exact way the way she was wrong felt.

It is pretty though. She puts it on there to mimic him doing it and then it turns into the intro to ICDIWABH because she is lying on the floor unable to function from a broken heart.
