Happy new year. It's possible to turn the gimbal on and off remotely with the Smallrig grip? Smallrig told me it is possible but I'm not convinced.

This could’ve been great with a focus wheel, but tilta got it right lol. I purchased a used one for 160, so slightly more expensive but completely worth it.

Hey man so mine grip isn’t working. The blue light is on but we I try to move with into stick it says “error” any tips on how to fix this? Thank you!

The only down side is that it has no focus wheel to use with the DJI focus motor. That is a deal breaker for me.

THANK YOU! It seems as now they don't have the standalone grip. Now they have it with a handle, but the remote can be easily taken off the handle as it's magnetically attached. Here's the current one: amzn.to/3IoYXFu

It won't work on the RS 3, only works on the RS 2 and RS 3 Pro

Is there a way to reset it? I'm getting errors and the joystick doesn't work. SmallRig "customer service" is no help. And I've had it too long to return.

How can I get the external dial to work so I can use the dial on the battery handle to work focus motor and the external accessary dial that clips on the powered nato mount to work the zoom motor. on the rs3 pro there is noting in the menu to allow for this function???? WTF how is that "pro"

I just bought this grip, and can’t get it onto the gimbal. I haven’t found a video that tells me how to remove the cover for the nato connector. Every one already has it off to connect. Any insight?? Mine just won’t budge!

Unscrew to loosen, slide off while holding the quick release pin back

I loved it until today when the handle lost connection and went into error mode. Completely ruined 1/2 of our shots. Stick with Tilta, we’ve used them for everything from stadium shoots to documentaries and never had issues like this.
