@Miles Stewart no. The term was apparently used by prostitutes or promiscuous women on sailors when they came back to land after long periods of time out at sea. Kinda weird in this context seeing as I thought she was comparing his muscles to guns on a warship.

Apparently in real life, Erica actually did nearly hit Tom with her car...twice. Justin Hartely, too. I'm guessing Lois nearly hitting Clark was an inside joke for the cast.
