Early 2000s had it's problems, but compared to today, those problems seemed far away, non impactful, at least in most peoples lives anyways. Today it almost feels like a different world, a darkers one, devoid of happiness and hope, it really does create a nostalgia for better times, especially better times we lived through and personally experienced.

started going down hill in season 8, and season 9 - 10 were both bad and felt like a completely different show. Still it had a good run, I agree.
