Lex isn't capable of love. He's capable of infatuation and obsession. That's all and that is as close to love as he could ever get. And Clark was right to not tell Lex the truth. Lord only knows how Lex would've used that information against Clark.

There is no real justification for Lex turning into the monster that he is today. And you can't blame anyone else for the way he is either. A lot of people go through crap in their lives, but not everyone turns evil because of. He could've chosen a better path, his mother even showed him the life he would've had if made the right choice, but his need for power and control was more important to him than anything. He didn't even care about Clark and Lana enough to become a better man.

Lex is evil. He made her think she was pregnant just so he could get her to marry him. How pathetic is that?! In the end it's Lex's fault that he became such an evil son of a bitch! And no offense, but I think it's kind of disgusting if you can actually justtify the things he did. Lex is a poison and he taints anyone who's around him.

I actually hate Lex more than I could hate doomsday. Lex made choices that got himself to this point. But doomsday had no choice in the matter. He's programmed to terminate Clark.

@sanjor8r *regretting. Yeah, Lana has the right to fall into the wrong relationships and then change her mind and see who actually loves her despite the gazillion lies he tells. You wish she was wish-washy, she never REALLY LOVED either of those men, she just tried to continue with her life since Clark wasn't stepping it up but was drown back to Clark, the man she's actually love. I'm pretty sure she knew all along that and Lexana happened because she was vulnerable & confused and Lex used that.

I agree with you on the Lana part... but as for Lex confessing everything to Lana, it wasn't something he did out of genuine trust... it was a strategy. Like Lionel would do with Martha in season 2, he looked at all of what Lana disliked about Clark and did the opposite to win her over... so once again, not done genuinely but for selfish reasons. Lex IS ALWAYS playing chess no matter what the situation, which is why I love him!

@ilovenaley7 threatened with his life... heck, even in Phantom she barley told him and that's because he kept pushing her :S so yeah, she should have came forward before but she didn't know what will happen if she did... what Lionel will do and then I guess it all became too much and she ended up telling him... barley and she clearly hesitated but she did (Chloe also had some part of it I guess) so let's agree to disagree, IMO it's not her fault and the Luthor's were playing with her.

I hated how the writers reuined this pair with this dumb plotline which made no sense. He was surprised when she said that she was pregnant.

In this episode lex hit Lana in which he had know right to do later in wrath lana gets some of Clark powers and goes afther lex and beat up go Lana hit that evil man right back

@sanjor8r Geez, Lana told me to tell you that she's sorry she had a rough time and Lex lured her in :rolleyes: seriously, he's a manipulative genius and I for one can't blame Lana for being so upset that she wasn't really thinking (again, this happens in life) and went to the guy who pretended he cared and understood her. Geez, liar Clark or a guy I never noticed before but seems to care for me? it's freaking normal but hey, why should you care about normal? about the actual character reasons?

Um, WTF? she was attracted to Clark waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay before knowing his secret and found him attractive and wanted him ever since he stepped into her life (same can't be said about Lois and YOU KNOW IT), in her heart she knew he was different and loved him anyway. She did not love him or leaved Lex because of the powers, that's a false accusation... she loved him when she didn't knew and knew.

@sanjor8r You can think all you want that she would have married Lex and I can think and I have reason to believe that yeah, she could have easily run off as well... I mean IT'S NOT LIKE SHE ACTUALLY LOVED HIM and even if she did the mistake of marrying she would have seen the error of her ways and dump him. Marriage doesn't work when it's not mutual, plus she was not in love with what Clark did, HIS WORDS touched her and if she heard a powerless Clark saying that she would run off as well.

Amy5 I don’t mean to correct you on everything you but Lana didn’t really marry lex of her own free will remember the way Lionel threatened her it explains it’s not her fault which means she was pretending to be something she isn’t Lionel knew Lana was never pregnant if he knew that then he should’ve backed off and left her alone not force her to give herself up it’s her choice to decide and she is not a Luthor if she was she would never have let go of what Lionel said to her and it explains that she truly is pretending I support her blackmailing skills against Lionel they are very responsible skills while Lionel methods are irresponsible

@ilovenaley7 both women and men date before they find their loved ones (her dating Whitney in S1/being his girlfriend), they may break up with their loved ones (Clark) and try to move on (Jason) just to realize that they cannot and they truly have something special... and what can I say about Lex? this sh&t happens too so yeah, you make it sounds like she's in Gossip Girl or something where they change mates like socks but her main love interests were Whitney, Clark Jason, Lex

I disagree... I think Lex was always meant to be who he became in 'Descent'... if anything his twisted family destroyed his ability to trust or be trusted. As for the lying. Clark's reasons for lying was always to protect his friends and family from reprisals against him. Lex's lies were always for malevolent reasons. All in all, Lana was always a liar just as Clark and Lex were. which is why it turns my stomach when she calls everyone out as a liar when her lies end up getting people killed.
