Exactly my opinion. I just love it. I think it's always funny to say it, but this awesome show helped me through a hard period of my life and gave me so much inspiration and motivation. Do you know that there is a season 11 which was published as a comic book and written by Brian Q. Miller (who wrote "Committed", "Hex", "Warrior", "Masquerade" and "Prophecy" on the show).

I agree tom should be in the superman movies at beginning of man of steel when they did that flash back of him stoping the bus I was pissed because pete was never a jerk to clark and clark never took the bus plus that's not how lana found out his secret so I think if there going to make anything based on superman then use smallville as his back story lol

Our parents' generation grew up looking up to heroes after WW2. The Epitome of Goodness. That, in the past generational T.V. anyways, was Smallville. Because the writers never wrote Clark as the bad guy. He was, is and will always be, the American Hero. Standing for Truth, Justice and the American Way. A presentation of the person the little kid in us wanted to be growing up.

You just have to listen to this song to just flash back to this show. Was it perfect? no. Did it follow the Superboy comic exactly? No. It created it's own path? Was every episode or season perfect? No. Unfortunately, actors, writers, producers and creators leave. But it wasn't bad and alot of the actors brought heart to the new generation of Superman fans.
