Didn't we found out that Barry's ending isn't the canon one since it doesn't happen in Resident Evil 3 Remake?

@@chrisredfield8590 Well, it's kinda hard to tell if the Remakes actually count as canon for me. RE1 Remake didn't fix the problem of how exactly Chris, Jill, Barry and Rebecca escaped the mansion, all four of them. 2 Remake doesn't make sense as canon because all the Birkin encounters are the exact same with Leon and Claire and it is unclear how Annette managed attack Ada but also treat Sherry (and then somehow being attacked twice by Birkin). Now RE3 Remake is the most straight forward that may have gotten a more cohesive ending... But that game did everything else wrong. And with the amount of cut content, it barely counts as a game at all (as an RE game that is). So... it's hard for me to count them as canon, in spite of the creators' intention.

Major league agreed I prayed this would be the best RE of all time but re2 remake and re3 og and re2 are the best ones imo

I haven’t played the original version but I can definitely say that Carlos in this is a lot better than that sweaty caveman in the remake… Hell jill is even more likable in the OG than the REmake (Update I have played the OG and as hard as nails as it is, it is a very fun game! Wayyyyy better than the REmake!)

That's subjective. Re3 OG is great but it was pretty standard as far as survival horror in 99' but r3make is one of a kind for 2020. You wont find a single other video game besides re2 that plays like re3 in 2020 or since but in 99' you could buy like 20 other games that played similarly to re3.

og is still the goat but remake carlos is p good too

@@aroccoification In terms of Replayability, RE3 OG is still the best.. After you finish the r3make, it's just meh and then you move on to the next one.. And of course, there are fans who still expand the RE 1-3 games by using mods.. It's true there are many copycats of RE games but did you see people still play that repeatedly though? Nope.

The remake could've been good but all the content that was cut Jesus. Even the old one had content cut but it was still amazing nemesis made sure you needed to go he would pop out of nowhere and years ago me and cousin discovered he could break down safe room doors and let zombies in. The safe room music would legit be gone as well. In the remake you have to raise the difficulty and you know where he is and isn't going to chase you just ruined the experience for me. And don't get me started on the story.

It's wonkier to me to think that Nemesis would opt for finding another way down rather than just jumping off the bridge after Jill.... would have been sick if we got a 'Predator' moment with him jumping in the water behind her

There's a similar file in the Umbrella's End scenario of UC with Chris and Jill at the Umbrella European headquarters where there's a correspondence letter written between Nicholai and Sergei. It's in a file.

Silent Hill had 6 different endings, and was released a year before Resi 3.

Does that mean he just walks around Nicholai? No. You can see Nemesis charge through or swat aside zombies. He might turn people into zombies, but that's like if a leech or slug transmits venom--it's meant to weigh prey down. Nemesis is a killing machine. Anything in his way is fair game. However, as a machine, it has a limited understanding of tactics and a basic competence with high-tech weaponry like bazookas. He is a creature ruled by the amygdala instead of the cerebellum. The only real target that becomes a priority is a STARS member. Thus, Nemesis bowls over anything in his path, as mentioned. I never thought twice about it when playing the game twenty years ago.

Nicholai was getting in the way & Nemesis was heavily mutated at that point, targeting programm might also been degraded along with his body.

It's just bad writing bro and a plot for the sake of an alternate ending.
