I bought one and wanted to use it to find my keys if I misplaced them but this cannot be used that way because if it goes out of Bluetooth range at any time the alarm goes off, There should be an option to allow it to be discovered when in range and make it beep. Also, this is not a gps device, your phone records the position when in range so not the same thing.

Same because I use an Bluetooth headphone and if I disconnected it beeps, what if I’m in sch and I decided to bring my phone and just left my keys in the bag just to go to another class or something.

Does this one stay on longer than 20 min after inactivity? What is the point if it wont send a signal once the item is misplaced? Is there a way to reactivate the tag from your phone? I have been unable to reactivate.

I was hoping it could be used as a pet tracker repeller or even key finder. When pet enters the room it alarms. You know somehow prevent pet from playing pooping peeing in the room. Sadly it's something very doable by just an app change upgrade but nah they didn't add it

bought 3 of these.. no it doesnt hv a gps locator in it. it uses the locate me feature on ur fon. so the moment the device got disconected it will lock ur fon location not the location of the device. u hv to turn on the location feature on ur fon

When all is setup, your phone will beep when the tag goes out of range. Thats it! Its a piece of bullshit. Might use it with my umbrella though, I always lose my umbrellas.

Works off Bluetooth. Fob tracks the phone and phone tracks the fob.

So if my keys (with this thing on them) gets too far away from my phone - and disconnects - they won't automatically connect again when they get close enough to eachother? If I lose my keys in my house (which happens. :P) and leave, but then come home to search for them.. will my phone be able to activate their sound?

i read the description and it said up to 20 meters without anything blocking in the surrounding area such as wall. which is pure fuck. i'd rather get more expensive tracking device with simcard and trace it globally.

Just bought two of these for Christmas. The detector will not stay connected to the phone and will not reconnect unless I hit the button on the device. It is useless for finding anything. I will have to spend some real dollars on some Tiles as they work most of the time. These do not work.

GPS tracker is obviously a lie. Just BT signal detector. It should be almost a phone like device to send you the gps location, with a gps, using that little coin cell... I don't know how do they keep repeating it in ads..

I understand this not a gps tracking , it seems to be bluetooth, is this correct? If I used it to track anything over 10 m does not track, right, but if I get within 10 m it will alert me through my phone ? SO IF i dropped my keys in tall grass , it would alert me where they were? thanks

if you go out of range, the tracker will sound immediately...both with your device with app installed. and if you will be close enough to your keys, the app will turn off the sound. in this case, you have to activate alert again to find the lost object. I hope this will be helpful

This device is a bogus. Yes, when paired and near the phone it works, but once it loses the signal (leaving it somewhere), it cannot reconnect when brought near the phone again. In effect - useless.

That app is really not user friendly...if you had your case stolen, you'd probably screw up setting off the alarm, the thief would then know there's a tracker and throw it away...end result case still stolen.

Após instalar o aplicativo e ligar o iTAG descobri que ele não funciona mais de 10 metros. O pior ainda não é isso, ele vive disparando cada vez que ultrapasso essa distancia. Procurei em vários tutoriais na internet para descobrir uma maneira de que o chaveiro não disparasse qdo ultrapasse a distancia com celular mais não consegui. Estou decepcionado com o aparelho, pois ao invés de ajudar está importunando.

Hey guys, this is false advertising. It is NOT a GPS, it's blue tooth which only works within 70 Feet and only if the app is open on your iPhone. :(

yes. if you go too far from the connected object, the tracker wil sound loud, even if someone tries to turn off the application installed in the preselected item. if you go close again to your connected device, the connection will be restored ;)
