David Casas that is the head cam this video was shot on. My head probably jumps the same in my BMW X5 when I drive that fast....but yes due to small wheel base and stiff suspension Smart Fortwo responds to road bumps. I love it though.

I`ve seen several here in the Philadelphia area. I do like them but imagine they are primarily for commuting as there is not much space for luggage on a cross country trip. Also stormy weather could be a problem!

Thank you for your reply. I can not help it now that I want smart. I have been to the old days, but the latest one has not left yet. I am at a loss as to whether it is a second-hand brabus, a new car with a turbo, or no turbo. It is the BMW Mini Cooper that I got on for 12 years now.

I've seen one of these cars landing on its side and grinding for like 40meters. The guy driving it was bleeding from the head, i helped him get out of the car, wasn't eass cause the door was locked and he wasn't conscious. And it wasn't the autobahn. It was on a small country road he was driving 50 km/h, just took a too short curve.

I daily commute on the motorway, around 50 miles a day. Would a 0.9 Turbo smart be good for this or not really?? Need some opinions below. Love the look of this car compared to the old ones, and at 6k they aren't badly priced as well

Wenn das so weiter geht, ist selbst bei einem Oldtimer später der Blinkerhebel der am neuwertigsten aussieht, weil die Penner ihn nie ich der Hand haben und nutzen!!!.

Der zieht ja, dank Automatik, richtig ab, kein Wunder, denn so schnell wie so eine schaltet, kann kein manueller Schalter seine Karre hochjagen...das sehe ich ja selbst bei meinem Toyota Yaris Automatik am städtischen Ampelstart...ich bin da schon längst im anderen Stadtteil, da hat der manuelle Schalter seinen Wagen gerade erst mal 5 cm von der Ampel entfernt...Automatik ist was feines, diese möchte ich gar nicht mehr missen!!!.

Why aren´t they designing a new Smart roadster cabrio version with 200km/h Vmax? The old Smart Roadster looks a little bit like a small Lotus Elise and is still the best of all Smart cars ;)

Mr Lady They are cruise control buttons on the bottom, also if equipped, it maintains distance from from vehicle so adaptive cruise control options. The one on top left is for LCD screen menu control, up, down and ok button. The one on top right is for radio volume and voice command control if equipped. Behind the streeing in my car are two triptronic + - peddle shifter for sports mode. Hope that helps.

you ve equipped a smart basis (that means no passion model) with the smart media system (palmares which is available just from passion, prime and brabus models and no for the youngster) but with no automatical air conditioning,....how did you do that?

This car is more Renault than German. Chassis, engine, transmission, interior bits, they're the same as in the Renault Twingo

Getrag transmission in all of the years I do believe. Just different designs. The 2016+ had a dual clutch transmission but from Getrag still.

i think chassis is by mercedes engineers. This is why the rear suspension (a de-dion axle) is similar to the mercedes W169 A Class from 10 years ago. engine/gearbox is from renault.

Ich hasse Blinkmuffel. Bringen andere durch unvorhersehbare Spurwechsel in Gefahr. Sowas lernt man doch in der Fahrschule. Es kann doch nicht so schwer sein kurz den Blinkhebel anzutippen. Außerdem genauso wichtig der Schulterblick.

Dipende molto dall equipaggiamento: si parte dai 10mila€ qualcosa di meno, per una smart di base non accessoriata, fino ad arrivare a circa 18mila per una smart con il massimo della tecnologia e equipaggiamento.
