Dang, I am currently considering buying a used Smart car, and this is by far the easiest oil change procedure I would have on any of my cars. Piece of cake.

Had to go to the MB of Seattle for smart parts. $13 PER transmission plugs. Got 2 Mann engine oil filters, a corteco drain plug, and 4 quarts of MT-90 from the jungle site. They’re running late on delivering me that same oil you used in the video but I’ll probably make a video when I do both of those services to mine.

@@rabbitfootedkitty1339 I will make more when I need more maintenance. There’s no point in making 10 oil change videos. When I need to replace engine mounts of anything that I have not done yet I will post them. My car only has 40,000 miles so it may be a little bit.

Thank you tremendously for your video may i ask where to get the gold color ring and what size to get and the exact name of it? I got the mobile one 0w40 and 108 air filter but didn't know i needed the gold ringvwasher too where do i get that?.i got the oil filter and oil at Walmart thank you for your help.

You can use a standard aluminum crush washer. The brass washer you see was purchased from Mercedes. You can use a standard aluminum crush washer. I believe the size is 22X27X1.5 or it would be 24X29X2.

Great video, can you show fuel & air filter change?

I have videos for both engine air filter and cabin air filter. The fuel filter is part of the fuel pump. Have it needed to change they yet.

@@brianfreeman8290 that's pretty silly that they make the fuel filter for cars last the whole life of the car. I would think it needs changing after five years and certainly change mine every five years
