I'm watching the video. Every time I see it, it helps a lot. If possible ;I'd love to see a video of the old Pocket (Part No: 4517270364CT3A).

The net pocket in the doors? I actually have the 2 parts to replace the pockets on the car but haven’t gotten around to making the video yet. I’ll will be out within the next week or so when I get the time. ^_^

Would it not be better to use a rubber strap plastic wrench?

Yes it would, but I did not have that tool available on the day of filming.

Why do you have Parking Position in your shift? My Smart Fortwo 451 just have N, R, D.

Yours may be an MHD or electric. IDK. Maybe yours was built for another country other than for the US market. Just speculating here because I honestly don’t know. 🤷♂️

@@ToyotaGR86Maintenance I have questions ? When I take top out and change new one For replacing How can I turn base back? First I turn counterclockwise for take top out And when I put plastic back I can not turn clockwise I don’t know why? Need help please

@@user-fz3bq2ib6k it may need to be pushed down a little more. If the new shifter is not completely seated it will not lock into place.
