The climate impact of freight transportation is still increasing.
But for many companies, establishing a meaningful inventory of logistics GHG emissions or comparing Greenhouse gas emissions across different modes of transport or suppliers can be like comparing apples with oranges.
That’s why Smart Freight Centre established the Global Logistics Emissions Council (GLEC) and developed the GLEC Framework: the globally recognized method for calculation and reporting Greenhouse Gas emissions from trains, trucks, ships, planes and logistics sites.
