PCM(Phase change material) can be used in place of battery storage, as battery storage suffers from self discharge and smart grid will help to connect solar on grid system and other renewable energy generation plants that produce power in different voltage levels to be connected that is only possible with smart grid a decentralised system will be formed, Now the current system flows from top to bottom with smart grid it will be both bidirectional ..sir, Great work please produce more of this kind of videos.

Well that is a tall order but I will try our grid is smart by default it has to be all National grid is smart the idea of smart grid is take that concept and expand it to normal homes not just too the nearest substation it's like adding more tech so we can do it better ,reduce loss, better management and core reason is better forcast (power spike , execs load , fault)
