In the video the light doesn't look that bright. How would this compare to say brightness of one of the LIVX multicolor bulbs? Thank you.

@@xXLARzXx It is sometime hard to tell brightness when I have my studio lights on and it is in a lamp shade.... one of these bulbs is equivalent to 40watt incandescent so I would say each bulb is decently bright for a lamp etc! Now I was able to find a LIFX bulb on Amazon... without more information it looks like those might be 75watt incandescent equivalent so if thats the same bulb/brand you have experience with these would be less bright

Is it actually as bright as a normal lightbulb when is on a different color?

@@marioramirezgonzalez8000 I have the same question. I am not sure if I got a bad bulb but on white, the bulb is like super bright and you cant look at it. But changing the color it goes down to like 20% brightness even though the app is saying its 100%

Yes you can set up a schedule to have it remotely come on/off at whatever time you want via any internet connection in the world! As for the TV light setting that would be a great idea... but they don't have that as a stand alone setting!

Great question. I honestly didn't notice if they were dimmer because you can still control the brightness even for the colors... I don't have the bulbs right now to check!

Much dimmer light come from the colours, I was a bit disappointed but the white light is very bright

I'd say that when in color mode, the brightness is 40% of the white mode, I think that these lights are only for ambient, not for strong illumination, the colors are really cool though

that's basically it. When you use White it is RED, Green and Blue beieng all on together. Now if you turn it blue it is just BLUE which will be then around 30% brightness. That's how RGB works.

The colors won't dim for you? That is really strange. That does not sound right... also they should all be the same white color. I'd recommend getting all the same soft white like 2700k color temperate bulbs that are not as harsh as the 5000k / 5500k lights! Then you can just dim them to achieve your desired result!

I have gone through a lot of smart bulbs since this video so forgive me if I get this confused (someone else watching may actually now know better) but I believe you can't schedule the color. It will just turn on and off whatever color it is set to at the scheduled time and then I want to say no edit their scenes. Since this video the smart life app has updated on all the other smart bulbs I've reviewed that have color scene editing so maybe it also has for this product...

they are only cool if you try to do warm white it just goes to a very low power orange

These are great. You can't go wrong with any cheap smart bulbs that use the Smart Life App! Very easy for anyone to use like your parents! Simple add setup/interface!

You can, however if you turn off the switch, then you'll need to turn it on again before turning the bulb(s) on with Alexa/Google Assistant or the app. To fix that issue, you can buy a smart switch and use that instead to turn the bulb on or off, either using the physical switch or the app (or Alexa or Google Assistant)

It will be your standard like 3000k/5000k light bulb temp. It will turn back on whatever color you turn it off!

As long as your Smart LED Bulb is connected to a WiFi network, you can control it using your smartphone, even when you're not at home. So, you can turn your light on or off remotely as long as you have an internet connection. Thanks for the comment and I am sorry you are having issues with the LITSPED smart bulbs. I no experience with those bulbs yet but after a quick google search setup should be the same as in this video.... have you tried to follow the installation steps in this video?

If a standard light bulb fits this would fit just fine... and you would have to keep the switch on so the bulb is always getting power and then the bulb can be turned on/off via your phone alexa etc!

Literally my whole family does that. Also, I'm in a fire department and learned from a chief here that you actually have to talk quiet into our radios for it to sound clear on the other end. He told me this after I picked on him for mumbling into the mic

Sorry you are having issues! Try resei the light bulb. Turn it on / off multiple times in a row like 5-10 times and then try again

I have tried to reset it multiple times too. the wifi and WiFi password are correct so I’m not sure what the problem is. do you have any more suggestions?

ally jay Hey, I’ve used lots of products with the Smart Life app, and had this issue several times. There are two key reasons that I’ve found: 1) the product might be too far from the WiFi access point for the connection (but will always work fine when further away) - I might recommend having one lamp near to your WiFi router for setting up the bulbs one at a time before putting them around your home once connected. 2) many of these devices only use 2.4GHz WiFi signals, whilst most modern WiFi systems use both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, with the 5GHz seeming to stop the setup process (but again, having no impact on them once set up) - When putting in new products I head into my WiFi router's settings (different for every household/router so I couldn’t tell you how to do that) and disable the 5GHz band, then set up the Smart Things product, and then turn the 5GHz back on!

I don't' think it will blink as that is Losing internet briefly won't reset it or anything. If you change the network info you may have to re-add it again to get it working as it won't have the current network information for you to connect to it. You may still be able to change the network info within the app!

All routers will have 2.4g so my guess is if you don't know you don't have a dual band router that supports 5g... Usually you can tell my the network name.

@@DigitalDavid the 2.4 band gives you the greatest distance. that is why all the devices use this band. as the 5ghz will have a shorter range but faster data transfer. you dont need data speed. you need range for more positioning flexibility.

So your bulb is not flashing? I believe you need to turn it off and back on maybe 3-5 times waiting in about 2 second intervals.... hopefully that does the trick for ya :)

RGB colors are always dinner for some reason on every bulb I've ever tried! You can still see them with other lights on but yes it won't be as bright or as noticeable as it is in the dark!

It needs a 2.4ghz network to be set up... most routers today are dual band 2.4Ghz + 5Ghz but make sure you are on your 2.4 or it won't work!
