Great Video - I total agree with your advice to use futures to identify volume trends. Another issue I identified when doing technical analysis on ETFS is that while they may track the price of the underling benchmark well, their volume pattern may differ substantially from that of the underling index. This is less so for highly liquid ETFs such as SPY or QQQ but I noticed a big difference when using OBV against a ETF that tracks the TSX 60 index in Canada. The volume on the ETF lagged that of the cash index by a lot thereby delaying signals.

👍 Volume is key, great you focus traders on this subject. When I trade on the 10 minute time frame I can see high volume bars as a move in a certain direction is taking place.

Selling through the support into stop loss zones is easier for me than exiting and longing iat the stop loss zone. I am psychologically damaged and somehow I always find it easier to sell any strategy or setup…. At least I’m aware of my handicap.

Maybe, but futures are only on high TF, and there is another way... there is a way to know if the market is up, or down. Sideways is harder, it will be a mix.

They need to make money each session. Thus building visual ranges will attract money. But will eventually be broken and buyers will drop their positions. Unaware of that the ones buying is in fact the same entity that built the visual range. And now can collect even more positions at a cheaper price. THEN they push us into the range again and breaks the resistance… and away from the range we go, and they maximized the possible profit in that range… they are pros with unlimited money.. we don’t have that..
