Smart Nora is a tech startup based in Canada, and the #SmartNora anti-snoring device is its first-ever product! The company introduced it as a Kickstarter campaign in 2015, and after gaining lots of popularity (and funding), Smart Nora hit the mainstream market in 2017.
And while this company is still relatively new, the Internet has been buzzing about Smart Nora since it launched. Of course, everyone wants to know whether or not a non-invasive device can actually prevent you from snoring (and, frankly, so do I), so let’s get into this Smart Nora review and see what it’s all about!

I like the set demo which showed how easy it is to do. I love that no drugs are needed to stop snoring or nose/face apparatuses to keep from snoring. This device from Nora seems like a winner!

Can you sleep on your side for this.I sleep on my side but husband says I snore really bad.o2 drops to 80.

Smart Nora looks like something that would be great for me. I am told that I am a heavy snorer. Like you said it is not a medical device, but it looks like something that you would first try before getting into more expensive alternatives. I also liked the option to program its sensitivity .

This is a flippin cool idea...never heard of it or seen it before now. I like that it can be adjusted so the sensitivity works better for you depending on the loudness of the snorer. I like that technology is coming out with amazing gadgets that can help us get a better nights sleep but i winced at the price...im sure it will be worth it for those have snor or have partners that do.

What a great idea! This looks like a very cool device that could really help without a lot of hassle. Unfortunately, I am the snorer in the family, even waking myself up at times, so something like the Smart Nora is very welcome. All hail new technology!!

I don't snore but I used to have some cats that could saw some logs. This is a really interesting device and I can see how it would be beneficial for couples. Great review!

How incredibly neat! Such a great idea! I don't snore anymore but if I did I would look into getting this...or..I'm sure my family would look into it..lol. The charge lasts such a long time! And it's great that it's so silent...I'm sure that took a while to get just right. It's kind of on the high end when it comes to price but I'm sure it would be worth it to ppl who snore or sleep with someone who does.

This such a great little gadget. but for the cost of it you can actually buy an adjustable bed frame, but i will admit this is much cheaper than the adjustable beds that detect snoring. so I am torn. either way it is kinda cool.

Perhaps, but even with my cPap I still wake with a racing heart so I still stop breathing and the dopey doc says the Cpap is working perfectly ... Well isn't that special?

I've just purchased this and will be returning it, incredible - but - for the most unbelievable reason - as a person who needs a dark room to sleep, the sensor / pebble for this device shines a super-annoying frequency white LED light that when placed behind you on the wall, is akin to sleeping with someone shining a torch in your eyes- when placed on the nightstand, illuminates the entire bedroom - I can see the mega-annoying white light through my eyelids, and it's bright enough for me to detect everything clearly in my room at night with perfect clarity - it NEVER turns off whilst the device is on, with no option to disable it! Who engineered this? it's bright enough that even if you smother it with some electrical tape, the light leaking from around the pebble plastic is still easily seen - absolutely NUTS. Nuts nuts nuts. NUTS. Excellent invention, absurd implementation. Would suit people who don't care about the light.

I have use your referral code... As a KZfaqr, I know how important those referrals matter. I hope it works. Based on other reviews it works. I hope to kick my CPAP which basically forced into me because of snoring. There are issues that hope it helps with too.

@@ElisabetTX I will ... based of the reviews there’s a transition time. two days couldn’t sleep with it but I found out you need to set it 30 minutes delay when you get into bed. It does detect your snore. Need a good pillow also. Reply a little later to remind me.

@@robinwiley884 I couldn’t sleep with it. I have to have my Cpap. I haven’t been using it. It does push your head up and that does wake me up. I don’t think I use it properly. I may have try it again.

Isn't severe snoring indicative of sleep apnea? It's an interesting idea, but if snoring is a major problem, I'd probably want my partner (or myself) to talk to a doctor and do a sleep study first. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was going to say, I sleep on my stomach. And my head is just barely on the corner of the pillow. I move constantly throughout the night. I am not laying squarely on my back with my head right in the middle of the pillow like this. My wife bought this for me but I haven’t tried it yet. I’m sceptical that it’s gonna do anything for me.

They now have a flexible padded holder for pillow huggers that would probably work for you, or maybe worth trying.

My wife snores. Horribly. There is a simple solution. White noise app. Bluetooth speaker. I recommend the WonderBoom portable bluetooth speaker. On really tough nights, it gets turned up pretty loud, but if you're like me, you'll get to the point where you can't sleep without it, even when your partner isn't snoring.
