First and formost i was reading self development books for my personal developments now i am reading book related to boast your brain power cause core leadership skills are reevaluated for the leader of a smart team. this book really taught you core skills such as decision making and delegating, but also soft skills such as delivering good and bad news to team members and how to realise more general aims such as building trust and growing your team. advice on how to look after yourself as a team leader, how to build resilience in tough situations, but also how to develop creativity..........thanks for the sharing the summary of this book ❤

I'm a drill rapper, i listen on 1.75x times faster, after about 20mins it starts to sound normal. The brain adapts, now thats smart! 👌plus you can get through audiobooks fast, 1.75x faster than the normal 😅😂
@cherculestv

I'm at 1.5...and it does normalize. However, I'll try it at 1.7...do you think our attention spans make us want to get through content faster?
@DCoWorld

@cherculestv no, I think it's an human impulse and if one can listen faster and process it faster and store it in the human library that is infinite because of practice, then one will listen to more books i believe!

@DCoWorld
@DCoWorld 3 ай бұрын
@thevindictive6145 Sure, bro exactly my point, check it out! So like, listening to audiobooks at 1.75x speed can kick your memory and learning up a notch, thanks to some brain theories and shiz. When you speed up the info, your brain has to work harder to keep up, which can make you better at focusing, paying attention, and remembering stuff. One theory called cognitive load says that processing info faster can actually make your brain dig deeper into the material. It's like your brain's hitting the gym and getting a sick pump, which can help you remember the stuff better. Then, there's this other theory called dual coding, which says that getting info in both word and sound form helps you learn and remember better. So, by speeding up audiobooks, you're hitting your brain with two kinds of info at once, which can make it stick in your memory better. And on top of that, spacing out when you revisit the info can help your memory hang onto it. Speeding up audiobooks means you can go back over the material more often, which might make it stick in your brain better over time. But hey, hold up - it's not all rainbows and unicorns. When it comes to math and other hardcore stuff, speeding it up might not work for everyone. Complex material might be hard to follow at 1.75x speed, but if you already know your stuff, it could help reinforce what you know and make things click faster. So, bottom line, speeding up audiobooks to 1.75x could be the ticket to boosting your memory and learning game, but it's not a one-size-fits-all deal. Gotta know your own brain and the material you're dealing with, ya feel me?

Something biblically significant about that 9120mins then rest.. my first thought was that sounds like 6 days. That thought came without math to me because God rested on the 7th day.. low and behold after the math it's just a little over 6 days. We ARE made in his image AND likeness. It may have been just for me, but it does make sense that we need that rest day!😅 If the creator of the universe BLESSED the rest day then something significant must happen after we take a break from an extended period of work. Glory to God. 🎉

Nothing new here and been said already in 100's of other books. 1 - Continuous Learning and Curiosity: Emphasizes the importance of lifelong learning and curiosity for cognitive growth, suggesting that engaging in daily learning habits and exploring new hobbies can significantly enhance intelligence and overall quality of life. 2 - Mental and Physical Exercise: Highlights the necessity of daily mental exercises and physical activity to improve brain function, including memory, concentration, and decision-making skills. It suggests that a combination of varied mental challenges and regular physical exercise can boost cognitive abilities and brain health. 3 - Quality Sleep: Stresses the critical role of quality sleep in cognitive function, explaining how proper rest helps in memory, judgment, recall, focus, and situational awareness by allowing the brain to regenerate and process information efficiently. 4 - Nutrition and Diet: Discusses the impact of a balanced diet and the avoidance of unhealthy foods on cognitive performance. It points out that whole foods rich in nutrients can improve memory, focus, and processing speed, while unhealthy dietary choices can negatively affect brain health. 5 - Emotional Well-being and Stress Management: Underlines the significance of emotional well-being and effective stress management for cognitive resilience. It suggests that practices focusing on gratitude, laughter, and purpose can enhance attention control, working memory, and processing speed, advocating for a balanced approach to work and stress reduction.

Jordan is correct and you misunderstood this book. This book is simply telling you that reading will help prevent IQ decline which by the way Jordan said that you can't increase your IQ but you can decrease it by having bad habits. Don't believe me? ok then, keep reading everyday and tell us when you increased your IQ to 160
