Even though I don't use anything Apple (I do occasionally fix them though), I would want this SSD enclosure to use with my phone or anything portable, for data backup. Nice and small is ideally what I was wanting, and yes I have full size version, worth every pennies despite some issues with it, also works with my OnePlus phones, and of course as long as Android phones and iPhones are able to supply the current the enclosure needs, you're good to go with it.

i was considering getting this enclosure yesterday but after reading the reviews which turned out to be pretty bad, i decided to go with a less expensive option that's just a simple aluminum enclosure.

If you reaaaalllly start using it there is some minor thermal throttling but imho not really.

Is 4TBs possible with this type of SSD? I currently have a Rocket Nano V2 1tb and I would totally get this in a heartbeat if I can do 4TB.

Wie lange dauert es bis das case auch 60-70grad erreicht? Ich hatte schonmal so ein kleines cases für eine 2230 und die werden mit der Zeit extrem heiß. Das Teil taugt doch nur um mal schnell und kurz Daten hin und her zu verschieben…

Can this be used to boot raspberry pi os? I know it’s overkill, but that’s the point! i can boot from any USB, but wondering if the built in stuff on this case will mess with the boot process. Can you try for me? I love this, thx

is the iPhone capable of supplying sufficient power to the device? The larger enclosures are not able to receive enough power from iPhones and they have a separate 15W? port to provide power to the drive, and I see this device doesn't, so I am afraid it might not get enough power.

Yeah I think the screen is useful but then not really you can see all that info on your pc I get it’s convenient but who really stops to look at that stuff when transferring files? Lol

This product is garbage, i dont understand why they keep releasing 10gbps NVMe enclosures in 2023? I had a 20Gbps models some years ago, its rather cheap, from ORICO, yeah it doesn't have the cools screen, but im doing 2Gb read and write A simple 10gbps enclosure is like 9-10$
