The modern D-Link Wireless N300 series of routers can be fun and fast but when you have to hold down a button for more than 20 seconds to reset a router without a precise instructions can become a pain.
How To Reset D-Link Wireless N300 DIR 612, DIR 615, DIR 650 Router and all other D-Link Wireless N300 series of routers is a super quick trick that saves you the stress I had to go through to figure it out.
My experiences with the router were all good until my ISP Field Support Engineer (FSE) can and changed my admin login password after I gave him access and he didn't tell me and I couldn't reach him or the company when I needed.
I put this video out to make sure that nobody has go through what I went through trying to reset this router.

The frustration it gave me to find out how to do it was enormous, I vowed not to let anyone go through it ever. It took me several tries to reset it the first time I did. What were the manufacturers thinking

That router is a pain to reset manually so, whatever you do, do not forget the Admin login details. It's a very good router with strong signal 📶 quality

I reset the router but still asked for wifi password then I put the WPS pin I connect the wifi but showing no internet access

here's the real way that i finally found. press 2 times the reset button, then the wifi light start blinking. then press and hold the reset button for 5-10 second. release the button, then press the reset button 2 times and hold. if you do it right the reset light will start blinking. i tried this method couple times for proof testing. and it works everytime . so yeah... it works. dlink really lazy and put the "default way to reset our modem" (the 10 second hold thing) method on every manual book, even though it's not the same for all router and modem.

This router is a serious case to reset you have to keep trying. It was very hard the last time I tried to reset it

It's strange but somehow this worked. I don't know if I did exactly like you said, but the reset light finally blinked! How can a giant company like D-Link be so callous about their manuals? I seriously don't want to use their routers anymore.

Bro, mine is locked after resetting, to connect to the router, it is asking password, I don't know the password

@@betternigeria-gy2ep there's a wps pin on your router, check it once. It's the password. If you can't find it on router, try to check the router's box

The signal is very strong and the penetrating in between walls is great too. I have no complains at all apart from how to reset the router manually... 😂

Android 10 or 11? For Android 11, it is close between Nezuko and Shape Shift OS But I'll give it to Nezuko for now. Android 10, my best experience was with Colt OS with Artemis kernel and AICP by Karen Kaname.

That router is stressful. There are times it won't respond to it even if you hold it for 5 minutes. But the transmission strength within my house is commendable

It was difficult for me to do. I don't even know why the manufacturer made it that difficult but you'll have to try over and over again. I did it in the video so if you have the same model as mine, it should work. I was so frustrated with at modem, I never wanted any other person to go through the same frustration I went through so keep trying and keep me posted
