Tueaday June 25, 2024 - I went to TJ Maxx and picked up two plastic storage drawers. They are created by Sysmax, and they are called Up System Multibox. One has 9 drawers, one has 12. Unfortunately the 12 drawer unit had several cracks and chips I did not notice in the store, so I will need to return it, or possibly exchange it if TJ Maxx has more. I am guessing since they are called "Up System" they are stackable. I do like the purple accent color on the 9 drawer box. So I decided to see if I could fit all of my SmartDoll hands and stands in it. And for the most part, yes, all of the parts fit. But if my SmartDolls continue to grow, eventually this may become too small.
Pros:
✅️ Drawers have dividers to seperate different skin tones and easily accommodate all hands.
✅️ Drawers also have labels and are clear so easy to know what is contained.
✅️ I can confirm stands and hands fit!
Cons:
❌️The plastic the drawers are made of can chip or crack easily.
❌️There is not a divider piece provided for every divider slot.
❌️SmartDoll gauntlets can only fit 2 in a drawer.
I did not test busts, and I am not sure if they would fit upright as the height of the drawers is only 2.7 inches. I will update if I test that later.
