Not liking somebody doesn’t mean you go out to put the person down. He said ‘mu Nkrumah nu’ he was addressing Ghanaians and they have responded to his address to them. He should have said ‘I don’t like Nkrumah and he would have been entitled to that!

If Napo criticised Kwame Nkrumah,what is wrong with that, was Kwame Nkrumah God no. As long as Nkrumah did so many things he also made so many mistakes or wrongs. Nobody can force everyone to see or understand things like how he or she sees them. The arrogant and disrespectful ones are those condemning Napo hypocrites

An individual can but there r individuals n individual. U Napo u didn't say it in your room ooo. U said it on an outdooring platform. That means u r not wise n besides he said from Mo Kwame Nkrumah's time till now so u mean all the others didn't do anything. That's what he said. While y r campaigning for VP position. So the man isn't wise kraaaa ooo. Anokye really showed us who he is: an Ashanti hater. As a learned man, he shouldn’t have embarked on such emotional and low base vitriol against another learned man expressing his opinion of a past leader and even swipe at the Otumfuo in the process. He should know, by now, that insult is not a substitute for debate and the impact of Nkrumah on Ghana is a debatable subject. Nkrumah is not George Washington. While the latter volunterary placed a time limit on his own presidency, after winning a momentous independence war, the former tried to become a dictator after finishing work which others had already started. This is not the first time this so-called historian is showing venom towards the Ashantis: he describes every time the Ashantis lose a war as being “walloped. He even sat on a show and described ” the Ashantis as being uneducated and pronouncing the letter “r”as “l”. Even his apology is half hearted: he can’t even accept that NAPO is a seasoned campaigner. How does he think NAPO got into parliament? By appointment by the President? I will welcome his answer to these comments. His vitriol was not only full of insults, but the substance of his vitriol was flawed.

Anokye, when you find yourself in a deep hole, you should stop digging. NAPO didn’t say anything hateful about Nkrumah. Was Anokye a young pioneer? NAPO just said “ your Kwame Nkrumah”. There aren’t three political philosophies in Ghana. Nkrumaism is dead. How many seats has the CPP won since Nkrumah was overthrown? Anokye is even worse as a lawyer. I’m happy the host really took him to task. But, then, Nkrumah shall never die!

@@emilyappiah1505 do you know Otumfour Agyeman Prempeh II gave him the title Osagyefo? Ashantis loved Nkrumah and supported him because they prefered an Nzema to the Akyems in UGCC, Otumfour gave him the Ashanti Youth Association then to campaign for him, he also gave him money because at that time Ashantis were very wealthy, the started having problems with him after Nkrumah came into power, he decided not to honor some of the arrangements and things he promised them that's why they also separated themselves to formed NLM which later became UP, Ashantis could have decided not to even join Ghana because Ashanti had it's independence in 1935, the misunderstandings between him and them started later .

@@NkrumahGh Asantes were not even the only enemies, the UGCC and colonial masters also wanted to take him out so that assasination attempt could have been another group, Asantes supported Nkrumah because they preffered an Nzema man to the Akyems who they hated then, the Otumfour invested his money even to help his campaign, the friction started later on when they began to think that he's cheated them and didn't fulfill some of his promises to them, the mate meho was from where? it was from the CPP, they separated from the CPP to form NLM so how can you separate from something you never joined? so the Asantes were CPP supporters before separating to form NLM, GO AND LEARN

To me Kwame Nkrumah was not a good leader and he failed Ghana . When he became the president of Ghana , we had a lot of reserves for the country . If he had managed the country well Ghana would have been like one of the European countries . Nkrumah brought disunity into the country by arresting opposition leaders . The detention act he introduced in Ghana was his downfall .
