Universal Red/Green/Blue (RGB) or Red/Green/Blue/White LED WiFi Compatible Controller & Dimmer without remote. Use to control up to four separate "zones" of RGB LED or RGB+White strips that will be linked and controlled by one or several wireless remotes or smartphones with the Wi-Fi LED Controller Hub. Synchronization function allows a single remote to operate one or multiple controllers (User configurable). Maximum load is 6 amps per channel, 24 amps total. Must be paired with Wi-Fi LED Controller Hub (WIFI-CON -- Sold separately) for adjusting all controller functions using a Smartphone or tablet running Android or iOS using free app 'milight'.

Would two strips on opposite sides of the room be controllable thru one master on/off function? I'd like to keep both strips set the same as with one master "control" if possible. Or would I need to connect both strips via a splitter and then run to one of these remotes?

Do I need to buy 4 4-zone controllers ? So for every strip a controller? Or do I just need 1 ?

Is the limitation of 4 zones due to the remote only? Can I have more than 4 hubs (like 6) and be able to control all 6 from my smart phone? Does the smart phone app have the ability to control more than 4 zones?

I'm having trouble understanding how a single controller can control multiple zones of LED strips if it only has one set of connections for the wires. Thanks in advance, if you'll pardon the pun, for any light you can shed.

a controller will only control 1 line of led strip.when he says multiple zones (max 4 zones for each remote) he means you can register multiple controllers on the 4 zones of the remote control.so by pressing zone 1 on the remote,you control all the controllers register on that.

so do they make a rgb/w light strip controller that is wireless but not wifi,i mean not with wifi controller built in tot eh light strip controller just the regular wireless like the bulbs? so say i buy 6 bulbs, and 1 non wifi wireless RGB light strip controller and a light strip , then i buy the wifi hub, then i can pair all 6 bulbs and the light strip wireless controller to one wifi hub and when i select one of the 4 zones, say it's zone one for that controller all 6 bulbs and the strip will be set to the same color/brightness right? then i can get another controller for another room and set it to zone 2? also what happens if i want more than 4 zones/4 wifi controllers?

each remote control has 4 zones.you can registered as many lamps u want on each zone in order to control them together.the trick is that if u have more than 1 remote control you cannot register the same lamps.So you can only seperate a room to 4 zones.you cannot create more zones by bringing another remote control in the room.....In few words each room needs a remote control which you can seperate all the lamps in the room in 4 zones groups. if you want to have only 1 remote control for the hole house then all the lamps must be seperated to the 4 zones.
