That is the best fade I have seen on these KZfaq videos for black hair. It's nice to see you cut someone with average black hair. A lot of KZfaq vids feature people with super wavy or curly hair. You give good detailed instructions, especially the tip on how to use your wrist instead of your elbow. I'll keep that in mind. Great tutorial, I will subscribe to you, thumbs up!

Prob the biggest tip to new barbers is take your time, I see so many new guys come and go because they get discouraged by not being able to get it done fast/efficiently and unconsciously rushing trying to keep up with barbers who been doing it for years

Smash, your videos are the dopest. I haven't seen anyone feather like you. Talking about feathering, I realize it's the key to a good fade. Can you do a a video on the basics of fading, including feathering skills? Also, I own a style liner 2 but I'm struggling finding the right sharpness, giving the ungapped blades and the tuning screw on the side. You mentioned you love those heroes. Question is, will you recommend the Heroes or the rotary Wahl Detailers??? Your help is vastly appreciated!
