I like the double entendre with 'Echoes' at 4:53! Not only is it a reference to Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (starring Samus and Dark Samus), it's also a reference to Samus and Dark Samus being Echo Fighters in Smash Ultimate! I also have 3 other good Duo ideas: Link + Young Link = Heroes of Time Bowser + Ganondorf = Kings of Evil Sonic + Classic Sonic = Sonic Generations

Fun fact: In Star Fox 2, Fox and Slippy has the same Arwing type as, respectively, Falco and Peppy.

I really like what they did here with all the duo battles in the classic modes

I've got some ideas for more duos. Link and Young Link: Hylian Paradox Mario and Wario: Mushroom Rivals Bowser and Ganondorf: Kings of Evil Donkey Kong and Conker: Rare Superstars Link and Marth: Swordsmen Mario and Sonic: Console Rivals

Who's willing to bet that Banjo & Kazooie is going to be a duo with Conker? I know I am. And assuming if we're only going to get one more main character slot, it would definitely be them. Speaking of Conker, I hope the PMEX Remix team also adds him into that game as well. I'm still heartbroken for the fact that he wasn't added into Ultimate even many years later. It really seemed like he could've been in that too after the King K. Rool and Banjo & Kazooie reveals. He's the last main N64 character left who isn't in the Smash games, *he deserves to be in them dammit.*

I like how peppy has a colt.47 while slippy has a fricking sniper rifle!

Slippy and Peppy's voices feel a little out of place considering the uncompressed audio has been available for years now.

It makes my soul laugh that they included a map from the horrendously bad Quest64 game -- I rented that game from a blockbuster once and let me tell you, it was an empty empty EMPTY, sloooooow "game" with zero personality and a tedious grind. So to see one of the many blaise "villages" (if you can even call row after row of empty houses that) used as a battlefield-esque level with the mind-numbing music too? Lights up my life. This game did more for Quest than Quest did for itself, bless.

Don’t know how much character slots are left or how much more content the smash remix team is willing to add? But would love to see waluigi, Geno, banjo Kazooie, Agent 007 from goldeneye Or Joanna dark. Shadow, tails, and knuckles would be cool as well as Dr. Robotnik/egg man. So many possibilities but will be happy if even 1 of these inclusions makes it in.
