I think Siobhan has a very relaxing voice when she talks. I like to listen to her.

it was really nice too see all 3 of them get back together too me Bananarama will always be the 3 of them not the 2 of them so it was about time they all got back together no matter what happen in the past its was nice too see them put all that behind them for the fans

"He Was Really Saying Something" was originally done by the Lesser Known Motown Girl Group The Velvelettes who never got the Money, Fame, Glory, or Status that The Supremes, The Marvelettes, or Martha & The Vandellas got but they didn't regret it for one minute.

I noticed that a lot of UK Groups always start with Two Kids who become Friends In School. Them, Duran Duran, The Beatles, are prime examples.

Bananarama were a great group vocally but Sara and Keren were quite stuck-up. I loved Siobhain as she was always the alternative one where her mood and attitude was like a breath of fresh air compared to that of Sara and Keren.

I thought they were great before they joined stock aiken waterman then they weren't as good.

They were the only Girl Group from The UK to do American Bandstand in The US. I miss that show, I would have loved for Girls Aloud to do the Show.

Everyone seems to forget that The Go-Go's and Runaways were also "girl power" way before Bananarama. And there were some all girl rock bands before the Runaways too, but they never get mentioned.

I reckon Jennifer Saunders thinks Sara Dallin was the easiest impression she ever had to do - Sara sounds so much like Jennifer it's unbelievable...

I sometimes wonder if they looked at The Drama at The Girl Groups that came after them and want to say "Cool It". I wished that they would have talked to Popstars The Rivals or even Girls Aloud. Remind them that Pop Music Giveth & Pop Music Taketh Away.

Isn't it amazing they debut in 1981 and on June 15th Duran Duran release their First Album. June 15th as you know is the Birthday Of Nadine Coyle formerly of Girls Aloud.

In Comparison to Simon Cowell, Malcolm McClaren really was an amazing guy. He did The Clash (Rock The Casbah), Buffalo Gals (That he did himself), Madame Butterfly. If he had lived he would have been as successful as Simon or even Pete Waterman.

Their voices were amazing despite their campy image.

And to think in 2002 Hilary Shaw managed Girls Aloud who I'm sure were more laid back than Banarama.

Is The Smash Show the UK Equivalent of Behind The Music for VH1. Is it me but would you say that UK Girl Groups have had less drama than their US Counterparts.

I grew up in the 80s and had a love-hate relationship with this band. Adored and copied their hair (backcombed and hairsprayed) and clothes (rara skirt, tucker boots, vest tops) and some of their music was a guilty pleasure, but I absolutely couldn't stand how they behaved in interviews. Surly is an understatement. They also did a BBC show when a reporter called Paul Heiney set himself the challenge of making a music video for them. They were rude and ungrateful throughout and Heiney really struggled to cope with their whims.
