Both of my parents passed away; it will be a year in May since my mom died- it was so hard for me to accept that I don’t have both of my parents any longer… I also have only one sister- she is 8 years older than I am. Hi Dawn! Beautiful look. I began watching this video this am right before leaving for an appt, and was quickly using my Cali palette with you because was running late. Occupational hazard of a woman with ADHD-I always try to jam too much into my timeframe.🤷🏼‍♀️ Thank goodness for easy makeup days! I loved hearing about your family. I think it’s true that our bodies allow us to go through difficult times and then collapse a bit after they feel safe (both mentally and physically - it’s all connected). These times are hard, but definitely, for me at least, help me to remember how to prioritize my life. Like, I’m so glad you stopped video so your son could chat, rather than telling him to wait till you finished. He will remember how important he is to you. ❤

Hi. Very nice makeup today. I feel like you about my parents. My Dad is doing better but has also slowed down. My Mom dementia has gotten worse. It is so hard to see them decline. We can only take one day at time . Have a good weekend. 😍

Hi Dawn🌻Thank you for such a lovely/informative & very personal video♥Yes, it's definitely hard to watch your parents age and go through things on top of us ourselves getting older + our kids. My Dad had prostate cancer when I was pregnant with my youngest (19yrs ago now)😥 but opted for the surgery and has been "fine" since. BUT my beloved/beautiful Mom passed away 3 1/2 yrs ago of Pancreatic Cancer😥(She was my bestie💔❤) so you can imagine how life for my fam has been since. I can't even explain it to you but it's just been dreadful. I have a younger sister but there's issues there..... family dynamics - ugh! My Dad & I are extremely close, always have been but I can't say the same for my sister with him since losing our Mom. Her and I have had many ups/downs too most of our adult lives- we're just so different. What is your relationship like with your sis? Are you close? Anyway, talk soon💖💕

Hi Dawn, that look came out so pretty on you, very natural. So sad about your dad being in a wheelchair. I too just have one sister she’s 4 years older, I have an older brother but we’ve never been close, he’s 5 years older. It’s so hard watching our loved ones getting sick. My sister got diagnosed with dementia when she was only 69. She had her 74th b-day today. We just got back from a 4 day road trip, I took her to a casino, it makes her happy. We had a good time, just seeing her laugh and happy are good memories for me. She’s lost her ability to have a conversation, she can say a few words, it’s really sad cause she’s my best friend and we would tell each other everything. I still have my conversations with her even though most times it’s not getting thru to her, just bits and pieces. She rambles on with words that make no sense but I just let her ramble on and tell her things like uh huh or really or yeah, she just laughs and smiles. Thankfully my hubby moved us 9 years ago so I could be closer to her as we age, that was a blessing, I’m only 10 miles away from her. Prayers for your dad and mom.🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️

Hi, I have the new Tarte tubing mascara and this one actually tubes, the older version did nothing. You will like it if you get it! Just Rinse it off with warm water. It gives a lot of length and volume.

When you were mentioning your blue eyes, I always tell my husband that when he wears blue his eyes are blue and when he wears green his eyes are green. He just smiles. I showed him your video , and I told him that you are a beautiful red head. He asked why I’m watching you, I told him I get my makeup tips from you. He looked at me confused, I told him that I wear different colors than you, but I get tips from you! TFS. Loved to hear about your family background. 🩷💙❤️
