Pretty sure no one was expecting to sink to the windshield if they slowed down, most of the trucks and cars flat out stalled, after 60-70ft in, i've never seen anything this bad before, at the end of the vid they're actually using the rim of the bog, even the big hp cars and trucks.

Undefeated bottomless mud pit finally crossed by luck should be the title. Any rig that sinks is immediately bogged and stuck. Gotta have a muddy mudskipper to stay on top. Thanks for the video.

Dustin Fowler i believe the year before i personally started covering the event a mud truck called FREAK got its front tires up on the bank at the end. Hopefully we will see her try again someday

Nah dude, he knew what he was doing. The smaller tire up front, paddle tire in the rear, high rpm motor(prolly like 2000hp) and everything else like the camber and toe angle gives it away. He knew what he was doing.

The key is obviously to hydro plane over that thick stuff. Probably almost nothing could make it through that thick deep stuff. I figured it would be one of those buggy type vehicles. Something fairly light with a good amount of hp. Nemesis must have a lot of hp and got going quite fast right at the start.

Only way to beat this pit is to do as the paddlewheel did and stay on top of it all the way through but stay inbounds and that guy is going to win this thing. Unless dirty dawg puts huge paddle wheels all the way around to keep it up without sinking he's going down with all the rest.

Smh I'll never understand that either I'm super big on waterproofing and mudproofing every nook and cranny needs to be blocked or filled in you better believe I've used rubber mats, permatex to spray foam caulk I even silicone my plug wires and around my cap

Very true but snorkeling in this type of scenario isn't enough. The main concern is horse power and keeping the tires spinning. The alcohol trucks need maximum open air because the fuel is igniting at such a high rate, otherwise they'd choke on the injection. Mud is also different than just water, it'd cake the external filter and render it useless anyway. Considering the tall trucks are at a hood height of 8 ft or more you really have to wonder if a snorkel sticking 12-15 ft from the base of the tires to the roof of the truck is going to be a game changer.

Hydroplaning is the key. Go over the mud and not through it. Those shiny front rims never even got dirty. Now you're gonna see less and less big trucks with huge tires and more and more trucks like the winner. In the future it's gonna be who can make it across in the fastest time.

Rules are the vehicle must be BIG, BAD or FAST. So your k20 better be above and beyond a mild lift and slightly oversized tires if you want to get in on this Bounty Hole
