Japanese has strong defense and Indians have strong attack!! The likes of Reddy, Shetty, Sindhu & Jolly have great attack!! This is mostly due to the physicality. Japanese are short and slim while Indians are tall and strong!! If you observe the way, Sindhu tackled Okuhara & Yamaguchi at her peak & the way SAT-CHI handled Endo/Yuta clearly suggests that the Japanese don't have much advantage against Indias!! This is not true with Chinese; they have strong attack as well defense!!

the japanese's defense is good, as expected, but constantly having to defend is not the way to win. The Indian pair was allowed to attack too much and that was their favorite style.
