"That can wait!I'm only 2 thirds into my favorite song!" Finding out Regis liked the Smashing Pumpkins was almost as big a shock as finding out Billy liked the show. My mother recorded it for me while I was at school.I was a senior at that time.I watched it with my family and we all had a good laugh.

you know, I often feel like I missed out because I was too young to appreciate the nineties. I think in the nineties people were just sort of being themselves in the industry, like there was a lot of raw and authentic and good stuff happening. The alternative music scene has gone very indie, and a lot of it is too hipster and obscure to feel real. I do like Land of Talk though. I think they're great.

Very well said... I feel quite similar actually. Personality-wise. Sometimes I wish I could find a way to coalesce it with some kind of comedic aspects though, that is to say, I feel I can be too serious... There is a truly subtle humor that people can have, wherein its foundations lay in less brash, shallow humor, and more clever, dark or sarcastic humor, which I like. And if Billie had perhaps done this, it may have enlivened this interview somehow.
