I’ve recently edited the SMBZ episode 5 and 6 battle to 1080p Widescreen, It’s a bit rough around the edges in some places, but I say I still did very good with this.

@@speed_311 When the teacher is gone it's all crazy battle, a free-for-all full of adrenaline where anything can happen and nobody knows what can happen, you just know it's a crazy mess and it's you (Mario) against almost everyone (The Axem Rangers and the Koopa Bros) except for your friends (Luigi, Sonic, Yoshi and Shadow) Until the professor (Mecha Sonic) arrives and suddenly all the madness, the adrenaline, the ecstasy, the excitement suddenly vanishes in a second, and what's left is fear, anxiety, horror and terror. And all the previous feeling of "I'm going to kill them all, I'm going to go crazy and make chaos in this place" turns into "please, professor (Mecha Sonic) don't kill me, I have to escape from here, I'm sorry for misbehaving and losing control, just don't hurt us"

What I love about this whole island sequence and the build up between these 3 parties (mario's group, axem rangers, and koopa bros) is that they all seem to be evenly matched and this whole fight is chaos but then Mecha Sonic comes in and ABSOLUTELY STEAMROLLS ALL OF THE OTHER VILLAINS. It gives him a wonderful sense of power scaling and makes his next battle with our protagonists all the more scary

Love how a majority of the time sonic is kept consistant with his abilities. Hes obviously very fast. And the times hes hit its usually from behind where he gets taken by surprise. Otherwise he usually dodges them.

If we are more accurate, it would be better to say that ALL, ABSOLUTELY ALL, are video game characters, only that one team of those video game characters are very similar to the Ninja Turtles and the other to the Power Rangers. And let's also take into account that Mario, Luigi, Sonic, Shadow and Yoshi are contextualized as Dragon Ball Z characters. Mario = Goku Luigi = Gohan as a child Sonic = Trunks from the other Timeline. Shadow = Vegeta Yoshi = Krillin or perhaps Piccolo.

Shadow doesn’t take one hit the entire fight. He’s so clearly a level above everyone else it’s crazy.

I don't think he is above everyone else, he just takes the fight more directly, the others normaly have a sense of teamwork which shadow doesn't follow, it is more clear in the following fight against mecha sonic where shadow only focuses on his enemy while the others fight trying to save themselves and others as well

I’d love to see the original SMBZ remastered like this. Someone was making a remaster of the series but they stopped after Episode 4 for some reason.

Redstreak 94 Well, I’ll gladly take remastering the series in widescreen into consideration, but that’s gonna take a lot of work. So for now, I think I’m gonna focus on fights. But only if I get a high enough demand for it.

Sprite Zone He’s only remaking it in 4K, not a 4:3 to 16:9 ratio. He said he couldn’t due to problems by converting it, but if my version is anything to go by, it’s possible, just a little bit of editing is required.

Seeing how absolutely smooth the quality is and that no lags are shown here, maybe you should do the Doomship fight (the one with Fire Sonic) and Mario vs Basilisx Still, this is a neat edit. Can’t wait to see it remade in the reboot!

Odd ones out! Sonic and Axem Pink don't share a mutual color with the opposing teams. Koopa Bros don't have a 5th member. Axem Pink the only female participant Only Team Nintendo-Sega don't have a yellow themed member. Though Wario being on the island would more or less join, only for the emeralds. Axem Rangers are pure inorganic.

3:11 a little graphical glitch. Mario disappears from the shell tower and a tiny Mario hit Luigi's head for a frame.
