I feel dating was a lot more restrictive than today though. Since it's more accepted today, contracts aside, variety shows may just be cautious because the idols might actually end up dating, and that would be a huge blow to their brand. When I see these old clips, although they are cute, many of them are manufactured. The show is almost forcing some of these idols to say something that will get audience reactions. It may be cuter and funnier, but I don't think it was any easier.

Is there a part 2? If not, I'd love to see another one! One of my favorite moments is is when Kyuhyun patted Jessi on the head and she got flustered, also in one of Jessi Showterviews with Ateez, Yeosang was showing a tongue trick and she went "what that tongue do?" It was hilarious! Eunhyuk on Shin Dong Yup's Bachelor party, was just a walking Casanova.

It's a shame the modern era of K-Pop is riddled with full bore delulu maniacs who cannot handle basic human interactions between idols. I know there were manic stans before but it feels like something major has changed in the industry and that has robbed us of content like this.

Ironically fans were worse back then than now. Taeyeon was pulled off stage by an obsessed fan. Some other idol whose name i forgot was send a cake with a fans blood or something like that. So it makes me question why things change. I guess cancel culture and online hate is probably something worse in it's own way.
